Estudo de "gotica" + "uncial" a simular influência Árabe. Matriz média de 6x6 blocos nas minusculas. Tem acentuação portuguesa. Study of "Black letter" + "uncial" with some Arab flavour. Matrix 6x6 pixel (average in lowercase) with Portuguese accent.

Blackletter? Vaguely. Uncial? Hardly. Arabic flavour: not a trace of it. It is an interesting experiment, nevertheless. Some letters need further polishing.

Like Frodo7 said, not exactly along the style of what you mentioned; but it looks great as a display font for something dark ;)

Hi all
Thanks for all comments. This is my first try here on using the Fontsctruct "blocs". As I described, is a study of somehow "old style" letters - "Mossarabe" (Moçárabe - Mozarab in English). In Portugal and Spain were the Iberic Christian who lived under Arab Islamic rule and adopted elements of Arabic language and culture in the 11th century. This study is just for fun, and in fact it seems somehow "arrogant" to compare it to "black letter" or whatever... the chalenge was tho reinvente the complex geometry with so few blocs. Carpe Diem, have fun :)

Wow, cool experiments you had!

I like the way how at first sight it looks all over the place but then its ornaments and the letter forms seem so consistent.

This is a very original typeface.

A flavour of the inspiration in a Iberic document.
