A font initially designed on isometric paper in response to my 'words' brief at UWE. 'Ornate' was the word selected from a list as a starting point. My interest in isometric designs was triggered by Jakob Runge's Fracmetrica typeface. And I know my typeface isn't truly isometric; it's damn hard to create isometric angles on Fontstruct, especially as this is my first font on here. Any constructive criticism, suggestions or advice will be greatly received. (I've no idea why Fontstruct has displayed my characters in such a strange order)

Sorry, second post to say 'could we have some European accented letters please'. You find them in the "more Latin" set. In the 'menu'>'commands' you'll see the possibility to copy your basic Latin set to 'more Latin. There are also a variety of other language sets incl more special European sets. 'More Latin' covers most EU languages.

Aeolien: I'll be working on adding even more characters today so hopefully I'll get down to some european and more special characters. Some of the current ones still aren't finished like the lower case k so I'll tackle those first but there should be new characters up every day or two.

Nice job. The diacritics on your Lc i's are above the dot, instead of replacing it—just pointing that out. :)

The 'f' could be fixed by raising the bar to 't' height by only having the top half of the loop, i.e., you could try it with only the left side.

Nice work, Tom, I am in the process of looking through every font in the entire collection of fontsruct (yes I know theres approx. 2.8k of them), but of the many I've seen thus far, yours is one of the better ones I've seen.

Would the Z work with the diagonal a bit lower (it would replace its top ribbon path) giving more height towards the horizontal at the top for the ribbon?

I tried this and it begins to look like a 2 again. I'm not sure what to do about the Z but it really does let the rest of the font down. I tried the old style Z that kinda looks like a 3 but it's too ambiguous. Also need some suggestions for the ampersand if you can tell which one it is! (2 along from the dollar symbol)

I think the Z is ok as it is - but the twists would look better if they were at the same height as on the other Uppercase glyphs.

The ampersand is the & symbol (I often Google 'ampersand for a variety of inspirations for this glyph).

Yeah it's because I'm using Fontstruct to create an A5 border for my type specimen I'm making at Uni and it's messed up the size of all the letters but once it's done they'll be fine again.
