Mithrandir is the Elvish name of Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings. It means Grey Pilgrim in Sindarin. Work in progress.

i understand the 5/10, it is somewhat bad

An update to SbB Papaya for the 2026 F1 season. I've seen some additional lettering that McLaren is using throughout the year on their social media and livery and updated the font to incorporate those designs.

Make sure to pick TrueType when downloading. Even though the math does work out with an em size of 2000, the em square size and glyph positions are kinda bugged in OTF downloads.

A sans serif font inspired by the Mac OS fonts Chicago and Techno

Gob Pixi is an amalgamation of different experiments with colour, display type and visual effects throughout the years of working with a comfortable, personal design palette.

Having been obsessed with grain textures and primary + secondary colours throughout the start of 2020s, I was moved to translate that into typography after seeing Kilotype's Lofi Forest "fizzy-fying" an otherwise sharp-looking Roman/Serif.

Also, I have worked on a type project that got me to layer different coloured shadows and highlights above each other, so this is my attempt at translating that effect onto another typeface that I've shelved for quite a while now. (I happened to come up with something similar to Get Yourself Connected by chance and didn't know what to make do with it.)

ColorComp entry, inspired by the Memphis art style. I started this originally a few years ago with several color variations (using the three main colors), but I couldn't decide which ones to go with, so this sat unfinished for a while. In the end I decided to go with this.

Work in slow progress. It was started as experiment in time of the color font challenge and unwinded from the shape of A glyph. I barely made whole  upper case set on time to reach the competition. Still it is fun to play with these color options and occasionally add glyph time to time.

Another font addition to the ever evolving and growing collection of revivals and inspired works called LETTERS OP MAAT, a project celebrating and trying to recreate the typographic contributions originally designed by Dutch graphic designer Jurriaan Schrofer.

This time I did a revival based on a sans-serif lettering concept Schrofer did in the late 1960s during his time with Mouton & Co..

The alphabet system was later featured on several book cover prints such as: "Marx and contemporary scientific thought"  from 1970, "Images of the world in the year 2001" from 1976, "Repro en Druk" (Weekblad van het Koninklijk Verbond van Grafische Ondernemingen) from 1981, and several more.

I decided to create a typeface family with two styles, SOLID & OUTLINE.

In addition to that I included an uppercase letterset, symbols and punctuation marks as well..

Opening day of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3! 
Celebrating with a spacy star filled background texture, bombarded by comets infiltrating multiple dimensional planes of existence. "Guardare" is Italian for Guardian.  

Lowercase font with some alternates (a, e, f, j, m, p, t, w) in the uppercase. The "tt" & "ff" ligatures are at the ""fi" & "ff" glyphs.

LUCERNA — Neoclassical stencil serif

Lucerna is a modern neoclassical stencil serif in the Didot style.

Created primarily with the focus towards luxury fashion and marketing brand-oriented projects, aiming at luxurious and sophisticated design projects.

Although it’s a true and fully functional stencil, design focus wasn’t so much
concentrated around the 'functionality' part of the stencil concept. Instead it was more focussed on the stylish implementation of the concept and on making sure it looks pretty.

The stencil concept was achieved by way of stroke omissions. Some of which are large and drastic, leaving only critical parts of the stroke intact, while others are more subtle, like those detached crossbars or cuts seen in the hairlines.

Thin transitional bracketed serifs and a mixture of various sized teardrop- and pointy terminals, combined with the high stroke contrast, these make up for a sharp and interesting looking font that provokes this thoughtful stencil letter concept.

There is a lot of subtle dynamic height deviations going on, hoping to tune in to more of a lively rhythm, and introduce some playful characteristic properties.
Minute changes to optimize optical performance have also been implemented, such as overshoots. The relative low cap-height makes up for a somewhat short and stocky uppercase quality. Its accompanied by a relatively tall x-height that results in a fairly large lowercase size. Due to the lower cap-height of the font, the short ascenders parts of the lowercase letters still exceed above the Cap-Line, preserving some of that otherwise lost white space, improving legibility.

The design's missing segments and various random detached bits 'n pieces aren't as functional in smaller sizes. Making it harder to read or distinguish detached letter elements from puntuation marks. So it is best used for display purpose.

A small number of glyph alternative forms are included as well:
 • 2 forms of lowercase letter a: Single-storey and double-storey (default).
 • 2 forms of upper- and lowercase letters Ss: Pointy terminals (default) and teardrop terminals.
 • 2 forms of upper- and lowercase letter Tt:  Uppercase letter T has two variations of pointy terminals, normal angled and extra angular. Lowercase letter t has alternative form with teardrop shaped terminal to use at the end of words, and can add a slightly more stylish look. The default version has better proportional width with just a small non-decorative curved terminal, this default form has smaller width for a improved horizontal text advance.
 • 4 forms for lowercase letter g: Just 3 additional extra slightly alternate forms.
 • 5 forms for lowercase letter f: Bracketed (default), curved, teardrop narrow, teardrop extra narrow, teardrop wide.
 • Extra set of Copyright symbols: Cap-height size and x-height size.
 • 5 forms of Pilcrow symbols: Just 4 additional extra alternate forms.

I originally made this font in July of 2021. I'd been looking for a way to turn it from a .png to an actual font file, and came across this site a few days ago, so I decided to make it available for others to use. I've also made a "smoothened" version, which helps makes some symbols (such as the M and W) clearer.
