The master FontStruction, as the creator and me say. It is the patron of patrons. The less than and greater than symbols look like rotated circumflexes.
T̲h̲e̲ ̲C̲h̲e̲e̲r̲f̲u̲l̲ ̲S̲t̲o̲r̲y̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲t̲h̲e̲ ̲M̲a̲s̲t̲e̲r̲ ̲F̲o̲n̲t̲ ̲-̲ ̲f̲r̲o̲m̲ ̲O̲r̲d̲i̲n̲a̲r̲y̲ ̲t̲o̲ ̲e̲x̲t̲r̲a̲o̲r̲d̲i̲n̲a̲r̲y̲ Master was once just an ordinary sans-serif typeface on the amazing app of FontStruct. But eventually it started losing control of its temper and that’s when everything started to go wrong…
The font promptly lost all of its support. Tesco removed it from all its products. Aldi opened with no typeface such as Master.
It was a nobody.
Until the 1950s when a skilled editor decided to log into FontStruct.
Now, this editor was very keen on editing all fonts which didn’t get used or were not finished. He also was a big fan of the font Master and had always THOUGHT of it as the most masterful typeface on the internet.
So that’s how the font Master came to be a proper typeface.
Then in the late 90s, the professional FontStructer Rob Meek, the graphic designer that everyone loved, decided to send the creator an apologetic letter stating that he hadn’t meant to frighten all the users off his app.
The creator opened the letter and replied with a letter stating that he would block the violent companies off the website so long as Rob agreed, which he did, in a letter agreeing to his action; if it didn’t include all the everyday users who entered the site.
Thus the No Nonsense Act of 1987 was then established, allowing everyone to enter FontStruct on the occasion that they didn’t delete or ignore any of the good ‘Low Bick’ fonts.
But in 2022, things changed. FontStruct was now an official website which everyone could still visit. It was now integrated as part of the internet where they had already implemented laws such as the System Safety Act of 2019, the SMART26, the Bad Blocking Act and the Copyright, Designs and Websites Act 2018 which was the web version of the copyright designs and patents act of 1988.
The Master font was now solemnly appreciated by all the users of the internet, who happen to come across it in the ‘Master font’ section and is now used in designs all over the world!
And THAT is how the Master font became the most famous typeface on the web.
I hope you enjoyed my story.
Note: The 'Low Bick' fonts are now 'Top Pick' fonts.

saberrider will make an art of this Typeface font.
As a first year graphic design student at UWE this is my first attempt at creating a typeface on Fontstruct based around the theme of ‘hope’. Looking at this theme I explored the words; dream, desires and wishing leading me to the classic phrase, ‘when you wish upon a star’ and have therefore, based my typeface on stars. Through research, I looked at the patterns and layouts of star constellations to find that they are only made up of straight lines and circles, which is why I have formed a simple lettering using only these two basic forms, incorporating the concept of star constellations.
