Recreation of the small pixel font from Williams Electronics' "Sinistar" (1982), which is also used in "Bubbles" (1982). Only the characters used in the game have been included. This is a clone of Splat (Small)

Recreation of the pixel font used in Williams Electronics' "Splat" (1982) and - with some minor variations on the "7" and ":", too insignificant to warrant a separate font recreation - "Bubbles" (1982). Only the characters used in the game have been included.

Best used in font size 72 or bubbles may not show out. Bubbles not of the same size when slanted/straight. Note that all alphabets have their own combination of bubbles.

Starting from the word 'squishy', I thought about how children play with very tactile things. If something has a tactile nature it will appeal to children to play with it and 'squish' it. From this I explored how sponges are very squeezable and photographed them in different ways. Alongside this thought process I was also sketching water in letter forms and loved how it appears to have a squishy texture in itself because it is fluid. Combining these ideas, I experimented with cutting sponges into letter forms, applying paint, squishing them and creating a typeface based on the marks they leave behind on a laminate table surface.

Just a simple one I had lying around. Bouma is the word for "word shape" as relating to the idea that we only read shapes of words. This sort of proves that we don't; we also rely on the letters themselves in decoding words.

A fun bubbly font who has managed to stay square. Be careful it gets a little droopy!

I created this typeface when set a typography task on my Graphic Design project at UWE. My chosen theme is 'Energy' I took this further by looking into energy drinks and their existing products' labels at the moment. I was inspired by the effective look of bubbles so based my typeface on this. Every letter's bubbles are different which makes it a unique font. This typeface would be best suited promoting events, products and maybe awareness advertising that are linked with fizziness, water or drinks etc. This is a clone

The Seaponies have an alphabet based on set of 7 bubbles. Land/air based have a hard time translating the endless stream of bubbles, but for water dwellers, they can easily seperate it into sets of 7. (Based partly on Braille)
