Simple scrape optical experiment with eroded characters. You can find a lowercase "c" in the "¢" glyph and "ff" and "tt" ligatures placed in the "fi", "ff" and "fl", if you need any of them. Suggestions to improve the font are welcome. Hope you like them.

Unicase font with lowercase zone used for alternates. You can take these additional glyphs to enhance matching letter pairs or the overall look of the design. Old style flavor and Cyrillic inspiration, but eroded. BTW, you will also find a free "c" in the "¢" glyph. See at big size and enjoy with it, please.

Caps only font. You can use the glyphs placed at the lowercase to add a different second letter in pairs like EE, FF, LL, NN, OO, SS, TT, ZZ, etc. and to avoid graphic repetitions in a single word or phrase. Extra "c" at the "¢" glyph. (NB: To create this one I have greatly exaggerated the method used by my admired Beate -sorry, Maestra- in her font db Whisper, which successfully simulated hand-drawn letters.)

This typeface based on the theme fluid has been inspired by the way that water/ink splashes onto a surface and is also based on Zuzana Licko’s pixelated typography works. After a first attempt was too loose and large in scale a more cohesive type was created using that used the basic shape of existing characters and implemented fluid edges. This decorative typeface could be used for purposes in the sci-fi or horror genre of movies and gaming perhaps

Casual Dragon Monospaced by Cohnisgone is an excellent medival-looking pixel font, but didn't have punctuation, so I cloned it to add punctuation and a few grungy box-drawing characters. Text should fit in a 12x16 box at pixel resolution.

My first font, made for a Typography class at the University of Idaho. We were given certain constraints, such as a limit to only using circles or squares, and the overall pixel size of the letters. Feedback is much appreciated.

"Blimey!" is a typeface inspired by the 1970s Punk movement- paying notice to the political, economical and social issues of the time and how they affected what we commonly refer to as the “Punk Aesthetic”. Ransom note lettering, stencils, silkscreen printing and the appropriation of current cultural imagery aided the movement to deliver its important message of rebellion. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Starting off with the theme "Dangerous", my focus for this project drifted to the definitions of both “rebellion” and “anarchy”. This naturally led me to the Punk movement and how it’s graphic style has been adopted into contemporary design practice. These graphics were often rough, raw, weathered and distressed- all of which I’ve tried to incorporate into my own type’s design. Ironically, the fact that this “style” is being used for commercial gain goes against the very foundations of Punk itself. This realisation spurred on the font’s name Blimey!, an ironic expression that is perhaps the furthest away from punk itself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This typeface would be best utilised in consideration to posters, flyers and possibly book covers (providing the content matches the attitude of the font). This font was created as part of my university work, I have created the work by picking a random theme (dangerous) I then researched and brainstormed words which relate to dangerous and then created ideas on things I had seen I liked in other fonts. I linked my theme to the grunge style of work as I think this was appropriate to do so. I wanted my font to look quite messy but at the same time readable. I wanted the font to look quite 'squared' in style as to round as I feel it looks better structurally.

Redesigning the pixel font. Built on a 50x30 grid, this masterpiece is a pixel font that is decomposing. Enjoy! Each "pixel" is 10 by 10 grid squares. The idea was from "Metropolis" by ackfla.

More fun with composite stacks, packing more detail into smaller grids. The crosshatching is made less regular by alternating and rotating a set of ~~three~~ four similar, yet distinct bricks. correction made on 2/15This is a clone of Fat Bit

1st University project, set for the typography course, aiming to produce a typeface based on the word 'Decay'. The type was inspired by the decaying of flesh, in particular, looking at the aftermath. This is also my 1st time using FontStruct.

First time using Fonstruct. Font designed around the theme of decay, focusing on derelict buildings and areas where nature has begun to take over. Whilst loosely based on the somewhat derelict font, Times New Roman. Welcome any feedback. (work in progress; mainly letter 'R') Best viewed zoomed in slightly.
