It's sort of my take on Amelia, by way of Black Sabbath. It's my first font. I found out there were more tools in FontStructor I could have used, after I had already finished this. Ah well, I'll save it for the next one.

This looks more like a font for a techno metal band (Metalectronica?) than I originally intended, but I think it is still handy. I made this to use as a pixel-perfect font for a game after no slanted or rounded outline fonts fit the bill. Numbers are taller than the x-height, but slightly shorter than the capital letters. The name is meant to sound like it fits in an ancient myth (Echidna was the mother of many beasts that featured prominently in Greek mythology), but also referenced the spiky nature of the font (the echidna is also a little australian mammal covered in spikes).

First use of FontStruct, suggestions and improvements welcome. Inspired by energy transfer, the connection between one object and the next. Looked at power and electricity, and then turned to the ordered, structural make up of the electricity pylons which span our countryside. This is what I came up with. This is a clone

Another script experiment, again with a pinch of blackletter, but also with a solid lacing of rock'n'roll... For the fun/easiness of it, this was done with pre-2.0-features only. Funny how this already gives is an old-school feel. :)
A lot of refinement is still to be done... Suggestions are, as always, welcome!
And I will probably add some more latin characters soon...

Yep another blackletter. This is my first font. I Love blackletter and its formal/modular structure seemed an obvious choice for fontstruct. I wanted something kinda simple and stripped back with caps that integrated well and didn't bring too much attention to themselves. That capital N brings attention to itself...

This is my first humble attempt at something blackletterish. It's the third clone of the initial starting point which was based on another blackletter attempt I did some time ago... Seems like I'm not much of a blackletter natural.:) I'm not completely happy with this one neither, but just pumping it out because i don't currently find any motivation or creativity to improve it.
Any suggestions for improvement are welcome! Especially for the T, that one gives me the creeps... And yes, I know kerning can get quite messy and is best done by hand.
More and/or higher resolution samples on my blog! This is a clone

Hunstrüct is my first attempt at designing a contemporary blackletter typeface within Fontstruct. The typeface draws inspiration from the long tradition of German Fraktur styled blackletters. The name Hunstrück is taken from a mountain range in Germany called the Hunsrück. Primarily I was aiming to build a face that would work well as a display type for gig posters and larger headlines but as I reworked the typeface I tried to strike a balance between text and display.
Big thanks goes to djnippa for his hard work in spacing this font properly.

A simple font, by the way, my first. And some things look missing (parts of letters), but that was purposefull.

Update: I've remodelled this one completely on a 1x1 filter, with some minor changes on basic latin, redesigned diacritics and extended character set for most roman languages.

This took me many, many hours of trying, learning, erasing and restarting. Especially the design of the caps was hard; sooo many possibilities! However, i'm proud to present you my first real blackletter font :) I would like to add some more glyphs to the "more latin" set, but the size seems to be close to the download limit. It's downloadable yet, but i had to erase some glyphs...
ps:
there's an alternate "a" on "@",
and some decorative stuff on "#" and "*".
cheers

This font draws some characteristics from the font used in the logo for the band Dark Tranquility (known as Industria Solid), most noticeably the curved, almost sharp looking edges and a lack of many curves (outside of the "sharp" points). Because of this, the font is named after a song on their Fiction album called "Icipher", as it's where I first saw the font (and liked it).

This is my first font created here.
I tried to build the font only with straight lines and no curves. Small letters are only 6px X 6px and large letters are 8px X 10px. Diagonals play a very important role in the construction of each letter. Also diagonals are more thick than the horizontal and vertical lines if you notice. So I named it Diagonal Knife. I tried to keep the font as simple as possible using minimum number of horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. Tried to keep the corners of the letters little blunt instead of very sharp.
Suggestion, Criticism, Appreciation are welcome. If you like the font or have any advice or request please do comment.
