This is a limited font, which has very few characters. This is based off of a 7 segment LCD display, and has a design that follows a format, unlike the other "7 segment display" fonts. Since this doesn't alter the design at all, it looks authentic and probably would work in an LCD. This is best used in all caps, but will work in lowercase.

This ornate typeface was designed with the intention to give every part of a letterform some curve. The end result was a typeface that mirrored the rounded shape of old-fashioned wood spindles like one might find on an antique dinning chair or an elaborate staircase in an ancestry home. Spindles like these were handcrafted and born from the finest lumber a proud wood worker could find. This same type of pride went into the crafting of Simple Spindle.

Name is a pun and a work-in-progress.

This font was designed around the theme word Elegant. I was inspired to create a typeface that was ornate and palatial; it is a ode to Baroque design.

I have tried to emulate columns for the body of the font and created a crowned frieze for some of the letters with decorative toppers for the remaining characters.

This font is only old style non-lining numerals. It was only intended to be used as reference and cloned by anyone who can't be bothered making their own numerals (a disposition that I can relate to). If you're wondering, the few letters are only there to spell out the title of this font, and they look awful because they are all deformed numbers.

A combination of blackletter and building blocks. Inspired by little kid's blocks. Descenders on A,H,K,N,R are meant to be there, I felt like adding them. :) This is also my first attempt at blackletter.

The next generation of pixel8. In this version the lower-case letterforms have a more consistent x-height, and—oh yeah—there's a full upper-case. January 2011 revision: • renamed "pixel8b" to "pixel8 rev B" • tweaked the legibility of the percent sign and the lower-case x • redrew curly braces to differentiate from parenthesis •added ff ligature on accent grave key •fixed some kerning issued with comma and parenthesesThis is a clone of pixel8

Did the world need another low-res typeface? I don't know but I did it anyway. Originally, I only needed a few letters and I planned this to be just a pixel-style design. I only intended to use it as a display font at larger sizes. But as I worked on it, I got inspired to make it hold up at smaller sizes, too. I wanted to be very minimal but still infuse it with a little more life than a lot of (low-res) sans serifs. Corners were rounded where possible, and I tried to invoke some old style characteristics like the looped g and bent lower-case t. I also like the variation in the x-height; some are 5px reaching above the waistline, but most are only 4px. I could have made them all 5, but this creates some more interesting word shapes. It's lower-case only at this point; upper-case is on its way. Hopefully non-lining numerals and more punctuation, too. The name is a play on words that relates to the 8-pixel cap-height.

When the half-angle blocks were first introduced I thought I would be the last one to produce an old style or transistional sans-serif typeface. Looking through the gallery, I still don't see any attempts. Creating a serif font with blocks is very much a square peg for a round hole, but I enjoyed the challenge. I tried to emphasis all the minor details, like angled stress, or the bottom terminal of the lowercase b. I spent a lot of time on this months ago, but after a while, just lost the drive to complete all the characters. Maybe you're up to the task.
