Confidento is a typeface based and styled on the word Confident, aiming to produce a type which uses features that are strong and bold. One of the main characteristics I have aimed to encorporate throughout this process is the use of a balanced type design, enabling the design to not become too heavy. I achieved this through the means of having large variation in width across different aspects of the text.

This modular typeface was designed for my Typography calss. Our assignment was to design a retro, video-game styled typeface. I alwasy loved my GameBoy, games like Zelda, Mario, & Pokemon.

This typeface is as cool as it sounds. It has a total of 46 glyphs and each one is awesome. It was made for Big Time Arcade and after years of begging we are releasing it to the public. I made this with the a retro, space, horror theme. I really wanted this to give off a space horror vibe, something that was meant to be used with space horror movies, games, or things like that. I hope you like this typeface, and comment with constructive criticism!

Congealed is a typeface based around the theme Fluid. I took inspiration from the movement of fluid and based my research on fluid dynamics. After completing experiments looking into how different liquids dispersed within water, I used the forms from images captured to influence the characters; thus Congealed was born. Transferring my original letters onto Fontstruct created broken curves, which is why Congealed was a fitting title for the typeface (congeal: verb – to become semi-solid). The variation of the weight makes this font legible and I feel that because of this, each character is unique yet complimentary of one another.

I suddenly had a lot of time on my hands, which resulted in this font. The initial idea was to make a font inspired by the (handwritten?) signs in retail stores, but it quickly took a turn for the more comic.

Inani is a decorative font which is most useful when used on a large scale. The key aspects that make the font unique and desirable are the way in which the eye builds the missing parts of the letterforms. Based on a theme of malnutrition the font takes the path of a letterform which is wasting away, hence the broken structure, and is therefore used better on a large scale due to the letterform being harder to understand at a smaller scale.This is a clone
