I am a graphic design student at UWE bristol. I have created a digital typeface inspired by bristol docks, i looked alot at the hooks on the cranes and used the shapes from that and other machinery for the structure of my letters.

Clone of Gears (Interlocking).
Designed for more practical use. Does not interlock like the old series did though. Oh and press period for the crank shaft.This is a clone of Gears (Interlocking)

Presenting my Gear font, in order to make the gears interlock, you'll probably be pressing shift nearly every other letter, (few exceptions, like m, w, e, f, etc. )which I acknowledge is not very practical, but oh well. Press period for crank shaft.

Created in repose to to the UWE project "Found type" i was working with the theme of "Dynamic" so i tried to work power, strength, movement and efficiency into my design.
