The alphabet writing system is based on some principles as follows:
1. Because a single line that is too long can make it difficult to recognize its length, each symbol will include a vertical line and there will not be a single vertical line occupying 3-grid distance without horizontal cutting.
2. A symbol must contain a vertical or horizontal stroke in the bottom block to avoid the appearance of two letters with the same appearance but different heights.
3. Due to the vertical line being read first to distinguish different letters before reading the horizontal line, the horizontal line in a letter always starts to the right of the vertical line.
4. In lowercase letters, voiced consonants are always one vertical line higher than clear consonants.
5. The size of vowels is always smaller than that of consonants.
6. Generally, the more commonly used the consonants are, the simpler they are.
7. Letters with more similar pronunciations usually are more similar, such as corresponding voiced and clear consonants, h and f, w and u, y and i, m and n.
8. Letters and numbers can be distinguished by the bottom two strokes.
9. Add a horizontal stroke above the corresponding lowercase letter for uppercase letters.

Recreation of the main coloured variant of the small pixel font from Factor 5/Neon Studio's "Mega Turrican" (1993) on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.
This variant is used for the intro cinematic and end credits. Otherwise, the game uses the classic "Turrican/Turrican II" (1990) font.
This recreation uses the special TTF+SVG format, which currently has limited support. For a monochrome version, see this recreation.
As with the monochrome version, this font has been slightly expanded to include special characters present in "Turrican 3" (1993) on the Commodore Amiga, and to complete the characters with umlauts (in two separate variations). The punctuation characters have been harmonised between the two versions as well.
Beyond that, only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.

New from AidenFont himself, it's AJN Birdhouse!
This font is roughly modeled after the UI of the KIA Soul (reference in comments).
- Font Name?
The name is basically a "connect-the-dots" puzzle in a way. First of all, the font is, as I mentioned, modeled after the KIA Soul. I, the creator, have listened to TMBG while working on this font. One of their songs is "Birdhouse in your Soul". This is where I got the name "AJN Birdhouse" from.
(This was made from memory, so expect updates.)

Recreation of the main coloured variant of the small pixel font from Factor 5/Kaiko's "Turrican 3" (1993) on the Commodore Amiga.
This variant is used for the intro cinematic, the start screen, and the highscore page. A different shading - very similar to the colour version of "Mega Turrican" (1993) on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, but not exactly the same - is used in the level end screens, and the end credits use an outlined white version.
This recreation uses the special TTF+SVG format, which currently has limited support. For a monochrome version, see this recreation.

This is a clone of Turrican 3 / Mega TurricanRecreation of the small pixel font from Factor 5/Kaiko/Neon Studios' "Turrican 3"/"Mega Turrican" (1993).
The Mega Drive and Amiga versions differ slightly in terms of punctuation and special characters. This recreation mashes up the two versions and normalises the differences - picking the Mega Drive version's punctuation and the Amiga version's copyright symbol and additional special characters.
The Amiga version only includes the "ü" and "ö", while the Mega Drive version includes the "ä" and "ü" - but with a different position for the umlaut. In this recreation, I included both variants (as upper- and lowercase), and expanded them to the full set of umlaut characters used in German.
Beyond that, only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
