This is my first adventure to capture the aesthetics of text typed with old typewriters. It is a derivative work based on a mix of typewriter fonts. However, I made it a pixel font to be used on computer screens. The size is optimized to reproduce the approximate size of text typed on paper. (Well, it really depends on the pixel density of your screen, but given the average notebook 1080p LCD it works. At least the text is not microscopic as with most pixel fonts.) It is a work in progress; there will be more glyphs added. Feel free to use it and tinker with it.

@Frodo7 - It also looks like it could have come out of a fax machine!  Congratulations on the Top Pick.  :^)

Wow, so schön!

A very nice balanced typewriter with many inconsistencies. This font makes every paper, every simulated paper, look very individual. This is what makes this typo so interesting. In this case it is an enrichment for message and medium.

I agree, this looks pretty neat, especially at pixel level and possibly anti-aliasing at pixel level…

An example of a diary entry using this font… (This didn't really happen to me, this is an example that I typed out)

Delightful! Ink gathering in places, missing parts and tilted letters, wonky as if produced by the hammers of an old typewriter, but using the pixel as a building block.

Wow! A must-would use this font!

Jeee, I forgot about this thing. Still, I'd like to honour the nice tradition of responding to the comments and saying thank you.

@Rob Meek: Thank you for the special mention (TP). At the same time, I'd like to express my gratitude for your tireless work for this website and for this community. The way you seamlessly manage Fontstruct is professional, and one of the big reasons we are still here. Thank you.
