but... ... malformed dots were an error... I didn't want them to be there.
Hum... Well, I've completed the typeset, but I'm not very happy with lowercase e, s and x.

I can see why you're not happy, because there's nothing you can do about it! I tend to start off my fonts with the l/c s now. Or at least do the "handgloves" letters to get a good idea where the problems are going to bite you from. Get the problem child sorted and the others will follow.

But don't be downcast -- I think it's a really good font, and the obstreperous x-height-busters are part of the charm. Now, if I can just persuade you to reinstate the effect of worn printer heads in the misshapen dots...

It's a subway in an alternate universe, think of it that way.
