UWE Graphic Design project - communicating with words. I chose the word "chaos" to create a typeface of my own choice. My research and process thought lead to me to create a font which incorporated my childhood. I started off looking at road maps,train maps and the london underground to start off my research, which was my initial idea. However, although maps are ordered and not chaotic at all, situations and the environment around you can cause chaos and stress. The maps of the London underground lead me to the thought process of looking at maps from my childhood and designing a typeface that was unique to me.
