For the combining marks, the dotted circle that is displayed should not be a part of the glyph (In the code charts on Unicode's site, they show where

If you plan on doing Latin Extended-A, you could make the diacritics in the Spacing Modifier Letters Unicode block so you wouldn't have to build the same diacritics over and over.
