The idea by itself is pretty cool, there are several issues with your letter proportions imo though. First I'd like to point out that the weight of the thick diagonal strokes is inconsistent throughout the font. Second, some letter(parts) feel a little congested/fat, like for example uppercase S. Third issue I see is with the uppercase X, it looks very out of place this skinny. Also I think the font would benefit from a bit wider space character.
