Recreation of the italic/slanted pixel font from Konami's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist" (aka "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Return of the Shredder", 1992) on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.
This font is used in the initial title crawl and in the dialogs/cutscenes. The same font was also used in the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time" (1992) Super Nintendo port.
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
Recreation of the primary pixel font from Konami's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist" (aka "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Return of the Shredder", 1992) on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.
The game uses a crisp, non-antialiased version of the same font used in the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (1989) and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time" (1991) arcade machines. The same font was also used in the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time" (1992) Super Nintendo port.
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
A proportional solid pixel font inspired by the comic lettering of Mary Kelleher. Based on the lettering she used in Eastman & Laird's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, specifically the "City at War" arc and Volume 2 that followed. As a pixel font, this font is mainly for fun, and is not all that appropriate for actual comic lettering. Since this is a solid version of the font, it does not support many characters with diacritics, as they rise too far above or below the letters.
Recreation of the pixel font from Konami's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project" (1991, released in Japan as "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Manhattan Project") on the Famicom/NES.
This tile set originally included only a partial set of hiragana and katakana characters - these have been extended a bit in this recreation to make it more useful, but it's still not 100% complete. In the tile set, the dakuten and handakuten are separate tiles. In this recreation, characters that use them are pre-combined into a single glyph.
The original tile set was, oddly, also missing the latin "Q". This has been added here for completeness.
Apart from this, only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
