Quite clever in its simplicity but just stunning looking as well.
@four - Wow. Amazing use of colors here!
Very nice use of the half arches for the shading!
Great bevel effect! You could try adding some overshoots?
Fantastic! I love this kind of fonts 😍! What would you think about changing the gray for another darker shade in the range of blues you've used?
Thanks, @Sed4tives, @Goatmeal and @BWM!
Thanks, @Yautja, I was looking at overshoots, but it wasn't working for e and some of the numbers.
Thanks for the excellent suggestion, @elmoyenique, that is definitely an improvement!
You're welcome, compa!
These new curves give the font a great personality!
A wall waiting a new work?
No, its the old curve! 😂
😂
Nearly finished this mural on 32m hoarding around a derelict site in the town. It is based on papercuts made by children from the local primary and secondary schools and painted with the help of transition year students.
Dayumz pretty nice work, cool to see actual FontStructions in real life action
I knew it, I knew it! Congrats for this great work, compañero!
This is some pretty nice work in real-life usage in the above sample…
Thanks @Sed4tives, @elmoyenique and @BWM! This was a very enjoyable project to work on and the response to it in the town has been positive. The x-height of the letters is 183cm, nearly as tall as me.. I'll post some details of the letters.
That equates to a font size of around 5,187.5 typographical points… That's so big, it won't even fit on my 15.6" screen at a size of 141 pixels per inch
That is at its actual size and not zoomed out.
Kudos to the project, the practical usage of the font works so well with the beautiful mural!
Wow! Amazing work. I hope to come and see this in the Summer!
That's awesome!
from 'a wall waiting a new work' to A FUKING MASTERPIECE!
oops, cut that part ount
Thanks @tortoiseshell, @Yautja, @lucapri!
Thanks @Rob Meek, looking forward to it!
it's cool
This one is especially great! It brings to mind memories of an 8-bit video game called BoulderDash or Emeral Mine that used the same type of beveling. Love it on that mural!
Happy 16th Birthday, FontStruct!
Nice brochure! I see you had that in mind when you designed the painting on the wall. Congrats, dear @four!
Thanks @elmoyenique! It was actually the other way round: the map came first.
