A theft of elements of Copperplate Gothic to see what it might look like through the 'structifier.

2x2 upscaled. If only all the glyphs could be equally nice. Then I'd be happy. I would.

Outlandish because I've made some fairly ludicrous decisions to get round the one-and-a-half-brick problem. I have done better, ha ha.

Sticking with Bill's wimmin theme.
Using deeply uncompliant angles he attempts to wrest something appealing from the grid.

Only any use in small sizes. It looks unspeakable up close. Particularly the caps. I'm gutted.

A completely mad font. I do know better, believe me. But certain letters look triffic. To me, anyway.

I suppose I should press on and do the caps. Almost can't be bothered, it's so hard to use. Believe me, this doesn't look pretty without kerning.

Silly me, of course I'm not going to be able to preview the typographer's quotes because my qwertyset isn't primed to receive them. They should work in a program (i.e. InDesign) that's geared up for them.

A bit of a mish-mash of terminals going on here. One tries these things to see if they work...

I was thinking you could cut down the bricks in the toolbox by a third by casting sub-menus off each of the rotating bricks; i.e. each rotating brick would have a little button a la Photoshop, giving access to the other three rotations. This retains a degree of user-friendliness for new initiates to the site. (No mucking about with special keys for rotations.)
If the user's palette floated like the others, that would give more room too. I find the floating palettes quite good because you can drag them out of the way.

An economical little number with just the one unseemly glyph, lower-case s, namely.

Apart from the small matter of the v,w,x,y,z inhabiting a different universe, this cheeky little number has a bit of trompe l'oeil going for it. Not a serious offering. Just for fun. Then again, I might try making s0omething of it...This is a clone of integer

I didn't realizing I was (badly!)impersonating Herman Zapf until about five minutes ago. And of course flares are out out out.
There's lots of things to sort: the character spacing is rooly bad and the weight of some of the glyphs is still off, but I'm having fun with it.
Trying to settle on a balance between stickiness and smoothness. It's great fun.

A font doesn't have to be beautiful for me to waste a lot of time on it. Take this one, for instance. I'm over it already and I haven't even finished. 6 glyphs short of a full set. That's me...
However, those Cooperish rounded terminals are sultry. I might see if I can pinch that idea for something else. See, it wasn't wasted after all.

Here's one I've had on the back burner for ages but last night I had the brainwave to soften nearly the whole thing and it's gelled a bit more. Gelled or gummed, whichever takes your fancy.
