I decided to base a font around timid text, exploring mainly the letters that we can't see. My research for this started in the city, but it became arrparent that most of the more natural, organic and unseen forms lay within the forest. I spent time looking at how the bark forms on trees, but what grabbed me was the way the branches above connected and crossed over to produce a network of hundreds of shapes and lines. It was from this that I created my type, mimicking the sight of branches when you look up through a tree.

Leafcutter ants. Watching nature documentaries (and the ants in my workspace) gave me the idea. The letters look nice filled with green and typed along a curving path.

A minimalist 'leaf' typeface. This is the last font in the 'fb' series. I will still be making fonts, just without the 'fb' name or tag.

The Leaf Me Alone typeface is inspired by nature. It’s firm, but flowing lines, represent trees and their leaves. It can be used for anything relating to nature or Fall. This typeface is simple, yet with a touch of fun!

An all-caps display font featuring a serifed baseline and a pointy cap height. A decorative variation based on a plant theme is provided for all uppercase letters. The lowercase letters use the non-decorative variation.
