A dark look and a few crows' beaks for dreary November... it belongs to my "1st of" series for 2016.

Aeolin: @meek Thank you.

@ brynda1231: you are right, those glyphs are missing. The reason is simple: those fractions, symbols and sets for further languages are not in the interest of this font (and most of my fonts!) as my users are not from those cultures and nations. Being unfamiliar with those languages I lack confidence, without understanding the shapes I fear that to reproduce them might not suit the culture when I apply my design's requirements.

I don't send my fonts to any free/shareware type of font collection nor do I sell them. My fonts are made for use by a restricted group whose needs do not include those glyphs in their daily correspondences nor do they need "decorative elements that look like they could be foreign letters".

I do sometimes add Greek, Coptic, Cyrillic and/or Hebrew to fonts where I think that my design rules will enhance those 'foreign' letter shapes as they are languages/letter shapes that I had a connection with in the last century at university. Generally I work for north-west European languages; because I live in that area I am quite familiar with those and I know how far I can go with working the design's rules into the letters/punctuation/symbols.

That explains why I rarely add the complete Latin A set except for when my daughter-in-law, grandsons, other family members or friends ask for them before they can use them in their native languages' correspondence, and even more rare is Latin B and Latin C in my fonts.

If you want to see my "extended" fonts do a search by glyph count ;)

Just opened this to add Welsh, oh awfulness... strange corruptions. Bricks overlapping without being compos. i.e. second line down triangle shows ""underlapping"" (did I just invent this to describe the effect in the fontstruction ;) ? ) clearly  with 2 different colours in highlighted area... other glyphs are equally overstructed :'''(

Comment by Aeolien 30th october 2019

@Aeo The bricks overlapping without being composites are likely a result of filters/nudging in a way that they overlap eachother.

The corruption might have resulted from working from more than 1 browser window, or quite possibly, from a brickswap. They are often the culprit of corruptions…

Letter A without filters. Woa, I can't recreate this (i.e. add curved bricks to MyBricks then try to slip them into the space of a triangle or other as this desired swap is refused). @ BWM: yes I have filters, but that doesn't explain brickswaps. The font open in 2 tabs: maybe 1 in 40 are complex so font in 2 tabs encourages glyph transfer between Basic Latin and the non-automated Latins incl google band ... This design is too small and limited = no need to work across tabs

Thank you @Meek, for finding an uncorrupted version on the server! I'll keep the 'messy' one for experimenting with ;) and work the rescued version for my friends. This letter A shows what I did make.

@Meek: the BrickSwapSituation : you managed to find and relocate an uncorrupted version (thanks again!) of the font. Looking at 'old' "A": some bricks look like stacks ; but why did basic bricks get exchanged?? Strange :/

I never get why the Ůů is included if you choose to 'copy to Latin accents'.

This letter is ONLY used in the Czech alphabet. And other Czech letters like Čč Ďď Ěě Ňň Řř Šš Ťť Žž aren't included.
