Initially inspired by origami, I started by creating tactile letterforms from a single strip of paper. I then picked out the central line of each horizontal, vertical and diagonal strip, which left me with a very simple, disjointed, linear set of glyphs. Finally I extended each line to get a 3D effect. I think the result has quite a retro futuristic feel (if you know what I mean). Definitely a display typeface. Full set of caps, incomplete lower-case and numerals, work in progress

I produced this for my "communicating with words" first year module on the BA(Hons) Graphic Design course at UWE Bristol, England. It pays homage to Ralph Steadman and is a true testament to what you can do on fontstruct, if you’re willing to spend a week in front of a computer in your underpants.

So what's your suite look like?
A set of lowercase alphabets based on elements of an architectural floor plan. Each letter is a "room," equips with partition, stair, table, window, or a bed.
After constructing you word, be sure to print it out, take a red pen and guide yourself through the rooms; no matter the arrangement, you will be able to travel from beginning to end.
Designer Features:
letter "o" features a central balcony looking down below.
letter "v,"w" have a wedged corner; perfect for study area.
letter "x" and "i" are grand staircases, boosting the grandeur of your creation!
Hope you will enjoy this unique typeface, and feedback welcome!

Still a work in progress, but this is a font for quick and dirty musical notation.
z, a, q, and 1 are low 'a.' Each is a different duration (eigth, quarter, half, whole). Use shift on those to go up an octave.
Space is for formatting; one space between notes usually works.
Brackets are left/right staff ends, and vertical line | is the measure divider.
The right side of the keyboard is used for flats and sharps.
Plus and minus are time signatures (still working on those).
Backslash is a repeat sign, and tilde is measure repeat.
` is a treble clef.

The letters can easily be made more legible. But it gets to be FUN & a-MAZE-d. Every letter/word has a solution. 4 types of spaces: space bar, @, #, %. Try it.

I wasn't satisfied with either of the current logo expansions, so i made my own. With Cyrillic characters.
IF YOU LIKE THIS FONT, PLEASE GIVE IT A GOOD RATING!
