TOUCHDOWN! A font based on Tecmo Bowl is now available!
This is a clone of Super Mario Bros. NESRecreated directly from screenshots I took of the game. I replicated every character I could find and extended the Latin set from there.
I haven't played much of the franchise, but I always loved the typeface used in the journals and was surprised no one else had recreated it.
This one is quite ambitious! A recreation of Metroid Fusion's font. The ones I found online weren't quite exact to the game so I did my best to recreate it. Still a work in progress (working on the Hiragana and Katakana from the game, as well as adding more Latin support and Cyrillic).
Feel free to use, but please credit me :^)
Font from the awesome PC/Steam game "Streets of Rogue".
I'll add More Latin support soon, provided the game actually has it. Entering those glyphs into the game is a pain - no copy/paste and Alt codes don't seem to work. I'll probably use a savegame editor to change a character's class name into a bunch of More Latin glyphs so that I can see how they render.
Recreated font from Comix Zone (Sega Genesis game)
Basic Latin, Numbers and "!@#" - https://www.deviantart.com/tabmok99/art/Comix-Zone-Font-Pack-833929756
Part of Cyrillic - from Russified ROM in there => http://sega-gamer.ru/load/boeviki/comix_zone/3-1-0-3
Others - created with trying to save an original style of font
This typeface is re-created from the title cards that can be seen in the ROM hack called "Sonic 3: Resort Island". The ROM hack was made by UtopiaUK for Sonic Hacking Contest in 2015, with difficult layouts and brand-new Special Stages.
The design of this typeface might be a little inaccurate, but please feel free to download it.
Font from Morphcat Games' Micro Mages, Spacegulls, and Böbl.
Font from the ingame marquee display of Barcade Brawl, a 2015 game by yours truly. This was made to look similar to the system fonts from old arcade boards, PC microsystems, etc. You've probably seen the fonts I'm talking about; they're everywhere and many people refer to them singularly as "the arcade font" or "the NES font".
This is 7x7 with no wasted matrix, but it looks better without monospacing since not every glyph is the same width. It also makes a decent terminal & chat font, at least for those who don't care about the case of the messages they read and write.
Feel free to use this in your games, etc.!

Original size: 5.25pt (use multiples of this size for pixel perfection)
Wizard of Wor. I noticed it had an interesting double-height font on the Commodore 64, where letters are combinations of a top and bottom half. I've fudged things a bit to fill the bog-standard ASCII set.
I've added the six character sprites, facing left and right. Here's how to generate them.
Burwor: Alt-0161 and Alt-0171
Garwor: Alt-0162 and Alt-0172
Thorwor: Alt-0163 and Alt-0173
Worrior (Player): Alt-0164 and Alt-0174
Worluk: Alt-0165 and Alt-0175
Wizard of Wor: Alt-0166 and Alt-0176
Recreation of Crypt of the Necrodancer's NecroSans 12px tall font. Belongs to Brace Yourself Games: https://braceyourselfgames.com/
Let me know if you spot any innacuracies!
Edit (2023-02-14): Working on adding some extended Latin! Yeah it looks like a different font, but if you plug those letters into the custom level editor naming field, those are what you get
Edit (2023-06-23): A game update a little while back added more official NecroSans extended latin, so it's looking much better now!
Without doubt, this typeface is re-created from the NES release of "Pac-Man Championship Edition", and the game was officially published in 2020 as a Japanese release. Rumor has it that the game used to be a fan game as well, but for my part, this isn't the point.
The small letters "i" and "j" have been adjusted, so that they will look more accurate in terms of typeface design.
By the way, the design of the small letter "g" has been adjusted as well, because it's not until today that I could obtain the "Eat all fruit targets" achievement in this game, and that I could see the real appearance of the small letter "g" (see the below comment I have just posted). Sorry for the inconvenience caused by this!
An unbelievable hole-in-one! A font based on NES Open Tournament Golf is now available to use!
This is a clone of Super Mario Bros. NESThis is directly cloned from "Sonic Genesis/Mega Drive Font",I don't like the lower-case letter "l" that looks the same as the upper-case letter "I", so I changed the design of the former. A little more minor adjustments in other lower-case letters.
Originally named "Sonic 1 HUD Alternate". Now I don't think it's only intended for the first edition of Sonic the Hedgehog; it might be used for many other Sonic games on a general basis, for my part.
Note: The latest change in this typeface is the lower-case letter "y", in order to be consistent with the size of the letter "g".
This is a clone of Sonic Genesis/Mega Drive FontThis is a product of minor adjustment that comes from my previous "Pac-Man CodingSets" typeface. Having taken notice of a certain number of its variants, I brought them all together (plus my own ideas for sure) within this typeface design, until it finished.
A part of changes in captial letters are exactly from "Pac-Land", a well-known arcade game of 1984, and this is where the name of the typeface comes.
Note: I have just done a little more modifications in it, and maybe this is my last time doing this, I promise!
