Heathcliff Helvetica is a similar match between Helvetica and Neue Haas Grotesk. Same similar style than Helvetica, but a different trait than Morita Casual 2.

With this I was prototyping a design which combined features of Helvetica and Sans Forgetica. But, while I was making the uppercase, this design got corrupted. Therefore this Fontstruction is now abandoned... the project will continue in FontForge.

"Cheat Evil" is just an anagram for "Helvetica".

Sansyt was originally a full on 'Helvetica' but I couldn't seem to get the diagonals right. Don't complain like "What about 4? or 7? Or the slashes?"

My first project as a student at UWE studying Graphic Design was to create a font using FontStruct. I chose to develop the theme messy, I thought to myself ‘what makes a mess?’ This led me to the idea of toast, it’s messy and especially when burnt. I cut letters out of burnt toast, I really liked the effect it had made therefore it influenced me to develop it further within FontStruct. I decided to use Helvetica as a guide purely for its simple, clean letterforms, hence why I have named my typeface ‘Burnt Helvetica’. I wanted to really capture the essence of the burnt areas with shading, therefore my inspiration came from cutting the burnt toast around a Helvetica letter template, photographing it and printing it on graph paper. Due to the nature of the font being messy I wouldn’t use it on anything formal or of importance, I feel that it would be suitable to be used within children associated designs, definitely food related designs and perhaps something rather playful or of course, messy. This is my first attempt using FontStruct all feedback is welcome.

a univers-like font inspired by the posters for the "haus der kunst" in munich. there's a "real™ font" called PUNKT™ that i discovered after re-designing this one in the linotype-library. PUNKT™ features lowercase only, numbers, punctation, some additional characters AND professional kerning! HAUS is a RE-DESIGN and differs in some glyphs from PUNKT™. I completed the set with small caps and small digits and developed text numbers. There are also some alternates and some "ligatures" to improve the metrics without kerning (use 'find and replace') enjoy!This is a clone of HAUS

This is my humble attempt to design a more modern translation of the beautiful 1896 Berthold masterpiece Akzidenz Grotesk. It’s no Helvetica, but the result is pretty interesting nonetheless. Check out the counter spaces in the lowercase forms—they took the most design thinking/work.
