This font is based on the HD44780U Character LCD-display, and it's a clone of the 5x8 LCD HD44780U A02 font, wich again is a clone of my LCD Dot Matrix font.
I've added some more characters to the font, some cloned from the Lucid font, while others where taken from the datasheet for the Hitachi HD44780U (LCD-II).
I've made a new font wich contains many symbols to be used together with this font. It'll be released later.
The font contains some alternative glyphs for the "A", "S", "3", "4", "5", "7" and "9" characters in the Devanagari character space.
The upper- and lowercase letters "Ø", and "ø", has been cloned from the Lucid font. (The original "Ø", and "ø" could be found in the Devanagari character space). This is a clone of 5x8 LCD HD44780U A02

Recreation of one of the pixel fonts used in Nintendo's "Kirby's Adventure" (1993) on the NES.
This particular variant is used for the title screen and the level name cards.
It differs from Kirby's Adventure (NES) Variant 1 in the letters "E", "F", "V", the numeral 3, overall spacing of all the numbers, and in the punctuation marks.
Only the characters present in the game's ROM have been included. This is a clone of Kirby's Adventure (NES) Variant 1

Recreation of one of the pixel fonts used in Nintendo's "Kirby's Adventure" (1993) on the NES.
This particular variant is used for some of the initial save slot selection and any information/text boxes throughout the game.
The original font had a tiny amount of antialiasing (for instance in the lowercase "a"). In this adaptation, only "full" pixels have been recreated.
Only the characters present in the game's ROM have been included.

Recreation of one of the secondary pixel fonts from Capcom's "Commando" (1985), specifically used on the high-score name entry screen to create the effect (in combination with its sibling slanted variant font and some clever mirroring of each character) of letters spinning when shot/selected.
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.

Recreation of the pixel font used in Seibu Kaihatsu's "Shot Rider" (1985). For the most part, it's a clone of the pixel font from Namco's "Xevious" (1983), with a few minor variations in the letters "c", "v", "x" and "y", no lowercase, and different punctuation marks. Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included. This is a clone

Recreation of the font from Nintendo's "Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3" (1994) on the Gameboy. This font is used for all on-screen text and counters, with the exception of the world map, where the font from the original "Super Mario Land" makes an appearance.
Note the lowercase "o" (used in-game at the start of each stage to indicate the current course number). The spacing of the punctuation marks and apostrophe was altered slightly (the game otherwise makes use of composite character sets with non-standard spacing and overall width). Only the characters present in the game ROM have been included.

Recreation of the "glory form" of Capcom's classic pixel font which first appeared in Knights of the Round (1991) and has since - with a few exceptions and tweaks - been used in a large number of titles (often in combination with additional fonts, or just on the arcade boot-up / warning / Q-Sound screens) including Street Fighter II, Warriors of Fate, Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom, X-Men: Children of the Atom, Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara.
Only the characters present in the game ROM have been included.

Recreation of a variation on the main pixel font used in the NES version of Irem's "Kickle Cubicle" (1990).

Recreation of one of the small-sized pixel fonts used in Capcom's "Street Fighter Alpha 3" (aka "Street Fighter Zero 3", 1998).
The game uses a very large number of slightly different small, medium and large pixel fonts (thanks, Capcom). This particular small variant is used for the game's initial warning screen, the start screen, and the arcade game's built-in settings menu (making it the "primary" small font for the game).
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
