My 5yr old hates math. But she loves coded messages. Answers are simple code: A=1,B=2,etc. This way she has to do math before being able to decode message. I got tired of coding her messages by hand. I haven't done lower case yet.

Just a fun one I did last night while watching tennis and reading the latest DWR catalog (see page 72). This is a pattern Fontstruction based entirely on the Anni Albers textile pattern of the same name.
"Anni Albers began a three decades long collaboration with the internationally recognized design company Knoll in 1951. During the course of this partnership, Knoll released five of Anni's designs: Track, Rail, Lattice, Jhet and Eclat. Originally designed in 1974 as an upholstery pattern, Anni Albers' Eclat, was first produced printed on a cotton/ linen ground in various scales and color combinations. Reintroduction into the market as part of Knoll's 60th anniversary archival collection celebration in June 2007, Eclat, renamed Eclat Weave, is now produced as a woven, rather than printed, upholstery."

I started this Fontstruction with a blank canvas and blank mind, and decided to draw my phone (guess which one that is!) to just warm up. Before I knew it, the idea for the whole design was staring me right in the face. Hopping around the internet, looking for images and information on which phones to draw was great fun. Who knew that the first ‘personal communicator’ was the IBM South Bell Simon, which combined the features of a mobile phone, a pager, a PDA, and a fax machine. Yes, you read that right! The Simon was also nine inches tall.

I just released my first music album in years, which can be heard here. The cover art was made with the help of FS, so here's kind of a peek behind the scenes for you. (Originally inspired by the font Recognition.)

what is this thing? just something i felt like finishing up. the first few glyphs made me think of dinosaurs with the ridges and eyes, somehow they got wheels and therefore the caddy. sideshow came in with the oddness of it all. well anyway, just trying to have a little fun :) i think this is showing some neurone error influences.

This one was a long time in the works. If you liked Knutz and Boltz you'll really dig this one. Probably no numbers or extra characters to come I'm afraid. The caps were a ton of work alone. Enjoy.
