WTF? Why does this keep happening to me?!!!

OK, here's the fix...

When you hit the dropdown menu to go from the Core to Connect blocks, if you click on the block you want in the user bloacks right away after that, you deposit that particular block stuck on the stupid cursor (it may not even be the one you had just selected) onto the user block you just clicked on, replacing it, and therefore all the instances of that block throughout the fontstruction.

Grumble, grumble...

At least there is a fix for this.  -DP

glitches aside, the concept is neat

Comment by JingYo 9th march 2020

Thanks, @JingYo.  Obviously, lots to be done, yet, but I found the fix (edited into my alarmed previous statement).

Maybe I can get something done now that I know what's going on.  ;)

Funny. I left the font and it was fine. Then after commenting I see another brick substituted.

ARGH.

Nice font! You might want to check the letter H… (The center of H has no dropshadow)

Comment by Bryndan W. Meyerholt (BWM) 10th march 2020

Thanks, @BWM. Obviously it's not ready for prime time, but I got mad and decided to make it public so I could complain about the brick substitution issue and so now my main concern is whether or not I can make it through the font without any more repeated instances.  Twice in a 24 hour span is enough.  ;)

So, if I create a 3D-like font (3D-ish, as this thing attempts), should the baseline be at the base of the face of the characters, or (as I have this one) include the underneath volume shading optical illusion of the bottom side?  What's your opinion?

Comment by SymbioticDesign 19th march 2020

I think the bottom of the letters (before the 3d effect is added) are at the baseline… (Also, you may need to check the " and ' in both fonts and the left ‘ in Knot as well)

Nice font!

LOL, wonderful catches, @BWM.  Fixed 'em real quick.  Looks like I have to lower everything by a brick.  Cool.  I'll do that later, sometime. Thanks! -DP
