Very similar in concept to Tangereen 2 by zephram.
1x1 filters.
RULES:
1. Cloning the font is allowed, but make some noticeable changes if you do. Alternatavely, you can leave a comment saying what should happen.
2. No having s** with the pound sign.
I have no idea where to start for this font, but in a few days I should have something. u/iluvgamblin, keep checking every now and again.
Update 02/06: No idea how I'm going to manage doing cursive hands for the capital letters, bu the lowercase letters are done.
Smoothened version of a font by MetrikEnzyme that is also the official version.
For clarity, he made his pixel version first.
As the name may (or may not) suggest, this is a 2×3 font: no faux bezier curves, no layers, just a lot of composites and brick patching.
This one was fun because it was a real challenge. The only (I think) two composites that aren't 4×4 or 2×2 are 5×2, and they're used in the lowercase x.
If it wasn't for brick patching, this font would've been literally impossible to finish, because glyphs like B, C, K, R, S, k, m, s, 3, 5, 8, $, &, {, }, and probably a bunch of others all utilize brick patching in some way. (Meek, please don't fix brick patching. It's crucial to a bunch of fonts on this site.)
Inspired by the "Get the world's leading font editor for OSX" thing at the bottom. I took the G from that and made a font out of it.
Not for the NumbersComp. If it was, this would be my third submission.
Lowercase letters are the same as the capitals.
...I could probably improve У a bit. If you have any suggestions, let me know in the comments. Thanks!
If you have suggestions for other letters, let me know those as well.
Supports English, Spanish, Kakaluʒi, Ukrainian, and Russian fully.
A custom six-segment display design. All combinations of segments are in the braille section.
Some forms may look weird because the display was optimized for numbers. I came up with the whole thing while in the car.
I unfortunately can't post samples in the comments right now. Womp womp. :I
The title is a shortened version of Keш Чijolu d Namerjoä. This means 'For numbers battle' or 'For numbers competition,' which is exactly what it's for.
Happy 16th birthday to FontStruct!
Things to know about this font:
- Pixel Serif
- The cake emoji has a 16 on top
- The eggplant (aubergine) emoji says 'nope.' If you don't understand why, I envy your innocence.
- I'm not a patron, so there's no color
2,000 glyphs is tough to pull off, and that only gets tougher the larger your grid is.
If some of the things look weird to you, it's because they look better at pixel size.
Oцalцi (/o-tsal-tsi/) is the Kakaluʒi word for connection.
Made of connect bricks. Inspired by Volle Buisjes. 2x2 filters.
Samples and innards here.
Capital vowels: Vowels
Capital consonants (No c, j, q; x is th): Consonant marks for vowels
": Connecting Consonant Carrier™
': Isolated Consonant Carrier
Lowercase consonants: Consonant marks for consonant carriers.
The consonant sound is made before the vowel, but typed after.
X Hight: 25 Bricks
Total Height: 33 Bricks
Nefüle is the Kakaluʒi word for hollow.
I might end up making a Füle font (Kakaluʒi for filled) that's just this, but, you guessed it, filled.
@punkypunky Very smart, good job.
