Recreation of the pixel font from Capcom's "1942" (1984). Note that in game there are two number variants used - a regular one with a right-hand shadow, and a bold one; this recreation uses the latter. Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
Presenting Capcom's 1943: The Battle of the Midway (aka. 1944, or 1943: The Battle of Valhalla), released in 1987 for the Arcade, and 1988 for the FC/NES. Those letters are similar to Gun.Smoke. Thus, it made a mistake because it supposed to be The Battle of midway, released in 1942 in movies.
This typeface is inspired by retro arcade games. I wanted a blocky style to represent how the old typefaces looked like. One typeface which inspired this one is one Atari made for their video game Sprint 2. I used a 12x12 grid to help me create the blocky look to it. I used a 3x3 grid in the corners empty to keep a consistent look to each letter.
Recreation of the pixel font used for the highscore table in Sega's "Ace Attacker" (1988). This rather whimsical font contrasts starkly with the primary font used in the game, which is the same as "Altered Beast" (1988).

Recreation of the pixel font from Kaneko's "Air Buster: Trouble Specialty Raid Unit" (aka "Aero Blasters: Trouble Specialty Raid Unit", 1990). Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
Recreation of the pixel font from Sega's "Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars" (1986). Alphanumeric characters are the same as "Space Harrier" (1985), with the exception of the "S".
