Only legible for a few minutes around sunrise. Erected in the desert. Original purpose unknown. Provides shade for illiterate nomads.

Before the movie we'd all just as soon forget, there was the cartoon. And the toys. And the endless joy. One of the best things to come out of the 80s: Transformers!

Muni is based on the characters of the automated displays on the newer Muni trains around San Francisco. Use Muni and Muni Tall together for a complete character set including diacritics, small caps, small caps and lining figures, ligatures and Muni logo dingbats.

This is based on a type design I was playing around with when I was in college in 1975. The original was drawn on graph paper. It had certain rules of construction, such as not using angles that tilted the other direction, making some kinds of forms practically impossible.

This is another one of my modular alphabets from my college days (c. 1975). This one uses a larger grid space than the Boxy 1 and introduces a curved element that can be used on the NE or SW corners. Otherwise it follows similar rules.

A tender little geometric thing, inspired in equal parts by nature and the Bauhaus. Lowercase only for now.
A variation that reveals the bricks is also available.

This is an attempt to extend acceptability of the bitmap Slightly with sub size dots and "twist joins". I ended up doing a little kerning in a fontlab to get it to where I wanted. That version is not downloadable - sadly enough.

Derived from the rounded rectangle of mid-century furniture and architectural design, a pioneer of which was Eero Saarinen.
See a specimen.

Quirky little serif font. Contains only the Basic Latin character set, so far. Figures are half-way between lining & old-style. More to come, I hope.
