Folder strips of paper style blackletter attempt. I wish I had better solutions for some charaters, but I had some tough struggles getting good looking glyphs for this style, for example uppercase T took me like 60 attemps and none ever really pleased. So I ended up with choosing the best of them en just went on with the rest. BUT, Zephram came to the rescue and delivered me a propper T, Arrrrr thanks matey!!!

Textura Reticulata, my first font. I began with the intent of replicating my own textura quadrata calligraphic hand, but decided against approximating the heavily-rounded majuscules with small line segments and ended up mostly inventing a majuscule set. I feel like the minuscules are a good approximation. The Ogham set are, of course, what you would expect to get if transcribing them with a roundhand nib. And I made use of various unused unicode slots to add some non-canonical Ogham characters for one of my own projects.
Moderne black letter font specifically made for the game Unburied with fixed width numerals
A Gothic minuscule typeface design.
It was crafted from the idea of a drastically simplified
modern take on Gothic medieval script, while making fewest possible
compromises to the overall medieval character of the font.
Nor was it aimed at mimicing any of the Gothic scripts in particular,
such as for example “Textura” & “Fraktur” but, rather recycles a some of their characteristics.
Personally, I think that the original concept was carried out successfully, and that, despite the fact that it was stripped of most, if not all calligraphic, it still managed to maintain a convincing portion of a medieval character.
It's finally done, it took me nearly 2 days to get the kerning done and balance this baby, but here she is!
SCRIPTORIUM - A Gothic script/Blackletter typeface design with drop shadow.
This is my first blackletter font. I don't know much about blackletter if this is not so "gothic" please tell me.
Idk why but you know what i'll make russian
A remastered version of Amanuensis by Riccard0.
I made uppercase non-decorative, fixed some width issues with lowercase, modified m, w, made alternates for g, y, d, almost finished the numerals, added some European characters, alt. eszett, more ligatures. This is a clone
EXPERIMENTAL BLACKLETTER THING or EBT (codename "Chimera Spine") first came into AMFA custody on July 23, 2018. As of this time it is still considered to be non-dangerous. Study of EBT has proven that there is a relationship between its venomous barbs and English letter frequencies, with more common letters being especially likely to have these barbs. The venom itself, while not lethal to any known form of biological tissue, has [REDACTED] effects on the human psyche.
A hexagon shape, a forced perspective effect, and a typeface all had their DNA extracted and recombined by evil scientists at Salk Institute. "Chimera Scales" is a hexagonal blackletter and the culmination of 8 years of genomic research. It has the ability to look like itself no matter what environment it's in. ALSO IT EATS HUMAN SOULS.
The "TB" stands for "tuberculosis", which is probably what this font has. Still, it was fun to try to create authentic blackletter on such a small grid!
Original size: 9pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection)
I attempted a blackletter style without any knowledge or references. The result reminds me of a vampire's writing!
The name "Dethzmezenger / Death's Messenger" comes from one of many old joke bands which I created.
Original size: 17.25pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection)
A Blackletter font that combines Fraktur and Textur with a couple of ligatures.
Textur + Fraktur = lowercase
Fraktur-specific variations = uppercase
This font was inspired by Johannes Gutenberg’s Black Letter, and the iconic 8 bit font. I wanted to make a font that would be found in an old arcade or some odd Nintendo Gameboy role playing game.
The challenge of making this font was trying to make it simple like the original 8 bit font but still have it be ornate like the Black Letter. I believe that I met the challenge and I was also able to make a lower case set which adds more readability to the big blocky upper case. While it became more readable it is still more of a display font.

Initially, I intended this to be All Caps, but the lowercase turned out looking better than I thought. Kerning appliedß
