The word 'Messy' led me to consider my personal habits, especially my hair. Through exploring my own photography of hair arranged to form basic letter structures, I considered texture, shape and tone. Further research and discussion introduced a resmblance with 'Black Letter' type ie. thickness in line. Therefore, I combine hair aspects with the traditional typeface. I believe my creation successfully modified the well known font by introducing more complex curves while still acknowledging the original theme.

NOT FINAL. WILL CHANGE A LOT.
This is a proportional-width variant of Gothixel Mono. It is behind Gothixel Mono in development and doesn't support as many character sets yet.
This is the one you want to use for all-caps text if you don't need it to be monospaced.
This is a clone of Gothixel MonoUpdate of my other font with the rough edges cleaned up. Also has Lithuanian and Scandinavian alphabet characters (kind of). Recently brushed up a little more. Hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed making it.
This is a clone of Fraktur mit Ligatur für LiteraturGothixel Mono. A blackletter-style monospace font for small pixel sizes. One half of the Gothixel font family.
Gothixel Mono proudly supports Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, and Hebrew character sets. It also has a big inventory of characters with diacritics, including those necessary for Vietnamese and polytonic Greek.
Gothixel Mono's majuscules are one pixel wider than the minuscules, and the font's default tracking is on the wide side to accomodate this. You can tighten the tracking if desired, but in that case, all-caps text will run together. If you need appropriate space between all letters, I recommend Gothixel, the proportional-width font. However, Gothixel is further behind in development and doesn't have as many character sets yet.
This font family was originally named "Blackletter RPG".
