My version of Jan Tschichold’s “Schmale Grotesk - Leicht und schnell konstruierbare Schrift” (narrow grotesque - font that is easy and quick to construct), from 1930.
Turns out it isn’t always “quick and easy” to translate a pen and straightedge approach to constructed letters into Fontstruct’s prefabricated bricks setting.
In expanding the glyph coverage, I tried to remain true to the spirit of the original self imposed limitations, both in terms of grid (e.g. the cramped space for the uppercase diacritics), and of tools (see the solution for superscripts et similia).
The font covers all of Google Fonts Basic set and, given the c-caron present in the source, all of Czech orthography. I may try to add other Eastern European languages in the future.
For different takes on the same source, you can look at Serious, here on Fontstruct, or at Iwan Reschniev, for an extensive expansion in weights and typographic features.
As always, comments and suggestions are welcome :-)
Another attempt to make a readable font narrower than Arial Narrow. I am basing the letters on ovals now, to try to make them easier for my eyes to deal with at small sizes. Works well at size 9. Arial Narrow is still better than this at size 8.

This is a clone of fs regulateLong long ago, I created this bitmap font for use on my Handspring Visor so I could cram a huge amount of text on the screen without disrupting vertical metrics. It's still pretty good at that! This could also adapt well to pixel-art games. As always, I'll happily add more characters on request!
Based on Damien Guard's Amstrad PCW font but redrawn with narrow, rectangular pixels to look more like the PCW's display. (No doubt there's some clever thing you can do to redraw them automatically, but that's too advanced for me, and I did them all by hand!)
BTW I'm still not happy with the accented letters. IIRC the PCW reduced the size of the letters on screen to fit the accents in their 8x8 grid. I might try doing a version like that at some point.

This is a clone of Standard Sans with Cyrillic ExtensionУзкий акцидентный шрифт с нерегулярным чёрным создаёт особое ощущение. Может показаться недостаточно изысканным, но лёгкая грубоватость, наивные капли и скромные засечки дарят шрифту его искренность. Набор дополняют все возможные лигатуры. Идеально подходит для постеров к фильмам.
