My update of Astra, a Letraset font designed by François Robert & Natacha Falda in 1973. I designed a matching lower-case set and additional punctuation.
The original seems to be a bit wider too, with more horizontal space between the stars than vertical.
UPDATE: Jan 25, 2010 - I fixed the $ and () to reflect the original design by doubling all of the character sizes. Also added { and }, and redesigned *.

it's part of my typeface project < unrecognizable font>.
a minimalist(maybe??) font. trying to express all caps characters with 9 bricks and there gaps.
my friend says it looks like a maze.
might be some problem with leading(didn't found the option)
ONLY CAPS(cause i haven't figure out how to express lowercase with the limited resources)

I was bored, so I started working on a pixelated Didone.
WIP and maybe I’ll do a smooth version.

What were you doing in 1994/95? What I was doing was spending all night using the Doom Construction Kit (DCK unfortunately, for short) coming up with lots of random Doom maps and then this typeface was burned into my face for quite the extended time.
Fast forward to now and although DCK is hard to run and execute on today's modern systems (even in the latest DOSBox) its legacy still lives on via this typeface.
Note that this is NOT the DCK3.x typeface, which is completely different, and looks similar to Chicago anyway.
This is my first fontstruct font ever. There may be changes made to this font in the near future but when I 'figure it out' I will definitely update this thing.
Basic latin only. :(
Also not fixed width unfortunately, so some characters squeeze together and ASCII art doesn't look lined up.

Foostruct v1.1
A monospaced pixel-font for programmers.
This font was originally created in only one day and is still in progress. I’m very open to suggestions and improvements.

Permutation: The act of changing the arrangement of a given number of elements.
One font, two different brick combinations.
Picking any two bricks from the 169 available gives a total possible combinations of 14196 (169C2) different fonts. Counting a certain kinds of bricks as one--all four 45degree, for instance--gives 36 unique bricks, resulting in 630 (36C2) unique combinations or fonts.
In this font, if the bricks are swapped with each other, the result will be a different font. Hence order of the bricks matter. In which case, nCr (combinations) is not the right choice. What's needed is nPr (permutations). 169P2 gives 28392 permutations and a 36P2 gives 1260 permutations.
So, at a minimum, 1260 fonts are possible with the current implementation of FontStruct, with just this particular layout of bricks.

The in-game font used by the Gameboy Advance game Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. NOTE: I took some liberties adding a few symbols that didn't exist in the naming screen myself. If anyone has information or better symbols, please let me know. Harvest Moon is (C) Natsume Inc.

No respect at all of any conventionnal font design: no ascender, no descender, monospace, monoheight, interior slab.
The main focus was to create a readable font and been totaly free of any standard design restriction.

For those who, like myself, love Georgia but love a wide variety of choices even more. Meant to be used on screen at 12 points. Try viewing the pixel preview for a better look.
