A beveled font that has a mid-20th-century vibe to it. Layer the upper and lower cases in different colours.
Upper case is highlight, lower case is shadow. Numbers are shadow, their corresponding punctuation is highlight. Period and comma go with colon and semicolon.
UPDATED 25 February 2009: Fixed spacing on X, Y, and 7 so lowercase and uppercase line up.

Based on few letters from an Icelandic 18th century cross-stitching sample book. The patterns most likely came to Iceland from Denmark and make a part of Iceland's national heritage.
Clone it and play with it as you like, but please contact me if you want to use it in a commercial project.

Now you can smell great, even when you're designing! This typeface was inspired by Axe male grooming products, particularly Axe's line of shower gels. NOTE: This typeface may result in, but is not limited to, exceptional design projects and/or late nights.
