Clone of PIXELA CYR featuring some changes of the Cyrillic letters along with even more additional (extra) characters for Cyrillic and Latin. Note: it's a work-in-progress... more letters will be added in the future... this typeset may also receive a slightly differing derivative one day... EDIT1: I added support for the Finnish letters "å (Å)", "ä (Ä)" and "ö (Ö)".
This is a clone of PIXELA CYRAccurate spacing is done with a SINGLE PIXEL ABOVE EACH CHARACTER, REMOVE THAT PIXEL to be correct.
I needed a micro font, something that could be done in the tiniest scale, and braille came to mind. it is decipherable, making it good for textures on signs or glyths in pixel art.
SHARE and USE as you wish, its just braille i hold no creative rule over this, literally anyone can make this exactly the same in 3 minutes or so, like i did.
Font copied from Dr. Cain Terminal by nthewhale but with addition Cyrillic font recreated from [RUS] roms
This is a clone of Dr. Cain TerminalAuthor of the original font: Patred
This is a clone of MC Ten DripWhile looking for a pixel font, I came across Pumpkin Font by SparklyDest. I liked it, but also noticed some inconsistencies and a lot of missing characters that I needed. Although I could have simply chosen another font, I instead decided to rework the original to adapt it to my needs.
OBJECTIVES
·My primary goal is to create all the Latin characters as well as the Google Fonts basic. This will already take me some time, but once done, I may consider working on other alphabets.
·My first task was to adjust letters height and width for a more consistent font. I did my best to ensure that characters within the same category have a uniform format, and when this proves difficult to achieve, I strive to get as close as possible.
·I might revisit characters that I already made. I'm learning as I create, and I may identify modifications to make gradually. If you have any ideas or advice, please feel free to share!
DONE
·Basic Latin
WORKING ON
·More Latin
·Extended Latin A
·Extended Latin B
·Even More Latin
A minimalist fraktur, broken down to the bare minimum of penstrokes. Based on the later more rounded typefaces with fewer distinct pen movements. Made for practicing calligraphy rather than æsthetics, especially w.r.t. lowercase letters. This schematic breakdown makes for easier learning of stroke-order and movements.
everything on your keyboard is monospace, 5x9 pixels. some special unicode characters are two spaces wide though, so the font is not entirely monospace. there are no characters that are not either six or twelve pixels wide (including spacing)
Sketchy is a pixel/bitmap font with an optimum size of... 44 pixels (if I counted right). I finally finished off the Basic Latin letterset, plus there are a few other marks are included.
