I was not surprised to hear that UK voters have chosen to leave the EU.

I made this font to show this dramatic, party politically based, end to the life so many  Europeans have known for about 40 years ...

            This font was created as part of my university work, I have created the work by picking a random theme (dangerous) I then researched and brainstormed words which relate to dangerous and then created ideas on things I had seen I liked in other fonts. I linked my theme to the grunge style of work as I think this was appropriate to do so. I wanted my font to look quite messy but at the same time readable. I wanted the font to look quite 'squared' in style as to round as I feel it looks better structurally.

                        This font was made as a response to a brief given to me for my Graphic Design course. we were invited to chose a theme for a list of words, I chose decay. My inspiration originally came from my everyday walk to Uni; past old factories, over a disused railway bridge and past an old cricket ground. I then started to broaden my view of decay and looked at the way it effects different things including the decay theory (a theory used my psychologists about memory) and then finally I narrowed it down to dead tress. The finally font has been inspired by the illustrations of Tim Burton.

                                  Inspired by the word 'dangerous' I have created a fontstruction based upon voodoo, ouija boards and back words writing. The font tends to include different shapes for instance 'crosses', some of these shapes have been inspired by typeface designer, Rudolf Koch 'book of signs'.

                                                        1st University project, set for the typography course, aiming to produce a typeface based on the word 'Decay'. The type was inspired by the decaying of flesh, in particular, looking at the aftermath. This is also my 1st time using FontStruct.

                                                              This is originally inspired by a typeface i've seen on a wedding/congratulation card. In the process of crafting the glyphs it turned out more and more like a font, perfect for horror, goth emo stuff. A little bit as you know them from Tim Burton movies/introductions. So this is why it's name is an homage to Tim Burton and his morbid, ingenious and unique way of visualising movies. Enjoy! Harr, harr... It also contains some ligatures (which i integrated into the sample) and alternative glyphs. Like for example an "o" without thedecoration in the middle...
