PAPERS, PLEASE has a very nice Title logo! I decided to re-create it, expand it, and make it 2D. Latin Extended only when someone wants it.
I made some useless thinner lowercase characters, but they don't really match up, rather an experiment.
It's like the original Defuser, but thicc.
WIP! - A new experiment into handwriting fonts.
I was inspired to do a handwriting script font of my own after I saw the recently submitted couple here at fontstruct by ecluniverso. This member's work is very good and unique, check it out here: https://fontstruct.com/fontstructors/1376510/ecluniverso
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The design concept for my font is handwriting with a broad-tip permanent marker.
I completed the LC string and numerals, plus some punctuations so far. UC (hopefully) coming soon.
Extrapolation of the lettering found on a Dutch renovation brochure. I have no clue if it is a existing font or not. I only used the letters from the brochure as guide and did zero research on it's origin.
Enjoy nonetheless!
Updated pro version for my previous font STOUTE VRIEDJES.
* Full support for both upper & lowercase characters.
* Optimized for more legible display at small point size.
* Overall ballance now much more consistent.
* Lowered the font's weight to make it look slightly less bold.
* Stroke width for all horizontals decreased by a small amount. In addition to this I also slightly increased the size of all the counters. This way giving the font a more open feel.
* As last in a attempt to overall make it look more aesthetically appealing various small changes have been made to the letterform approach & other specific small details as well.
Enjoy!
This is a cloneA design for Perler bead and other fused bead artists.
These letters are designed to use a small(ish) amount of of beads while still being sturdy enough to make into charms, keychains and such. The letters are on a 7x7 grid and require an average of about 44 beads to make.
I recommend filling in the negative spaces with more beads, but if you fuse both sides, these designs should work fine on their own. I'll test some myself and post images eventually...
Original size: 5.25pt
Fett commands attention with its lavish uppercase letters. I had focused on creating an geometrical inverted slab serif incorporating features of Glyphic serifs. The distinguishing feature of Gylphic typefaces are the triangular shaped serif design, or a flaring of the character strokes where they terminate. Although Fett is not classified under either of those groups, I don’t think I wish it could be either- it shouldn’t be. Fett is meant to be very playful and tasteful. I named this font after its thick, fat stroke weight. Fett translates to “fat” in 3 different languages- German, Swedish, and Norwegian.
