Inspired by the display of a digital clock from the 1970s. Space = word space, &= black-dot rectangle, low_line=white-dot rectangle

What if there were ‘hexasegment’ indicator cells? Now, thanks to new block displacement feature, we know!

My first font, made for a Typography class at the University of Idaho. We were given certain constraints, such as a limit to only using circles or squares, and the overall pixel size of the letters.
Feedback is much appreciated.

An pixel font I created a while ago, for a Scratch 1.4 computer program. I now turned it into an actual font you can download and use!

My first font creation ever. I wanted to make a font that plays with viewer's expectations regarding the letters' shapes so that its legibility is kind of borderline, but somehow it evolved into a pixel font that seems like what you'd find in Pokemon. I'm thinking of making the dots stand out from the lines later on.

This typeface was based on the theme 'Messy'. I tried out a few experiment through sketches and rendering, trying to get as messy as I can and also at the same time challenge myself in creating something messy. I looked up on the word messy for different sort of meanings to it, and I also rendered down all sorts of images to get the right font to the theme. I did mini cut outs, played around with colours, tried using all sorts of lines and rendering. I finally came up with a way to portray the theme, using ink/ paint. We always encounter smudges and splatters in our work and it becomes a big mess. I also found the inspirations through several artist, especially Paul Jackson Pollock who did abstract paint pouring.
Based on LED dot matrix used on elevator floor position indicator made by Schneider Steuerungstechnik GmbH, a German manufacturer of elevator electronic components.

A font of the national morse code. Capital letters are slightly bigger than small letters.
