A monospaced font based loosely on the NLQ type from dot matrix printers of the 80s. It lacks f-ligatures because of legibility concerns, and it is named after a shark with a funny name.

Inspired by the kind of fonts you would see on receipts, or expiration dates on packages. Suggestions are welcome.

Based on the font from The Powder Toy (if you haven't heard of it, that doesn't really matter). It is probably one of the most natural pixel fonts there is.

Name says it all. It's pixelated, so don't be surprised.

A visual clone of "GlassTTY". It should be pixel-perfect to it. (Based on the VT220 font.)

Here's a throwback and a tribute to the old scoreboards of Dodger Stadium and the Astrodome.
The main alphabet, numbers, and some of the punctuation (the period, the apostrophe, and the T-shaped ampersand) are accurate to the original dot-matrix displays. However, much of the punctuation had to be improvised (there is no evidence of a question mark or comma being used on these scoreboards), as are the accented characters.
Updated on April 9, 2014: I made a slight modification on the colon and semicolon after a recent search on photos of the old Astrodome's scoreboard.

Here is the fourth -- and final -- unique font to come from the ImageWriter II. I had a bit of difficulty trying to copy this from a standard printout using my ImageWriter II's without manipulation. Each character in the ImageWriter II's "Near Letter Quality" (NLQ) mode jammed a 16x14 character into what would normally be an 7x7 template.
I wound up figuring out that the ImageWriter printed each character's odd-numbered pixel rows before printing out the even-numbered pixel rows. Ultimately, I caught a rather (un)lucky break after the printer would mess up after the odd-numbered pixel row printout. This worked out because I was able to separate the alternating rows, then I spliced them back together.
Getting back to the font's attributes, ImgWriter NLQ, much like my previous ImgWriter entries, features characters that were not a part of the original design -- accented capital letters, the "fi" and "fl" ligatures, the yen and Euro symbols, fractions, et. al. The only character in this font that is not monospaced is the ellipses (or "dot-dot-dot"); this was made to be a double-spaced character to cut down on the white space between periods.
Enjoy!

2014.04.15: Small update includes combining diacritic marks; this was done to circumvent a bug in some Mac programs where the accented characters wouldn't appear correctly after typing in Option+N then N, for example.
(Last updated on 2013.05.06: Includes a greatly expanded character set.)

A variant on my ImgWriter font. This time, the characters are white on a black background.
--------
2014.04.15: Small update includes combining diacritic marks; this was done to circumvent a but in some Mac programs where the accented characters wouldn't appear correctly after typing in Option+N then N, for example. I also altered the "A with Ring Above" characters to look more consistent with the original version of the font.
2013.07.16: Slightly changed the appears of the 5 character in the superscript, subscript, and numberform characters.
Update: As was the case with the black-on-white version of this font, the character sets have been expanded. Unfortunately, while this does have superscript and subscript numbers, the fraction slash character wouldn't work as a zero-width character without mucking up any subscript and superscript characters.

This font is based on one of the fonts used by the Apple ImageWriter II dot-matrix printer.
Included with this font are the basic Greek alphabet and the Japanese Katakana lettering.

Last updated: 2013.05.04... This font was taken down briefly mainly so I could bolster the font by adding several new glyphs -- including superscript and subscript numbers, fractions, and even some image images that you'd expect to see on your computer screen.
