This is a font inspired by pixelart and the nordic rune alphabet. Caps give you runes and the small letters describe what letter the rune is
Use it as you like, would be awesome if you credited me but you don´t have to. Free stuff for the people :D
I designed this font based on the word 'Thunderous'. My thinking in how the word relates is due to the Norse God Thor. I then started to look in to old Norse culture, this got me interested in runes. So with deeper research in to the Futharks spawned this type.
This is the Norse alphabet, known as Futhark (named after the first 6 letters of the Norse alphabet).
"A", "E", "N", "S" and "T" represent the compound letters, otherwise, NO CAPS REQUIRED! There's also numbers & a symbol for the SPACE.
Inspired by a Blackletter font in which I saw Art Deco qualities. The name comes from Norse/Viking mythology. It's great for headlines/titles and works nicely as majuscles for slab sans serif fonts.
No DL for this particular design but the initial font design will be tidied (has Latin & MoreLatin only) and made available before the end of next week.
In this font, every letter corresponds to the same-sounded rune in the Futhark. Uppercase for the Elder, lowercase for the Younger. Extras have been assigned to runes with non-english sounds. Thurisaz is Q, eihwaz is X, inguz is C, and jera is both J and Y.
