this was concieved to be a LOGO font. especially e.g. band names, event titles or companys or whatever...
it's a lower case set with an "empty glyph" on "." to replace the space bar and to connect words.
further it includes a diamond like square on ",".
guess where i put "+" and "-".
:)
needless to say this will stay a lower case only font!

OK.
Here's "VUVUZELA"
A typeface inspired by the continent of africa, but mainly by the WorldCup of soccer 2010 in South Africa!
To catch on of the strongest associations for me relating to africa, i chose black and white stripes, maybe to remind of zebras or other animal patterns. But the effect also stands for the "swoosh" of a ball flyin by, for just the the "sporty" feel i wanted it to have.
Enjoy it.
There's an alternative "a" on "="
cheers kix

This is an attempt to extend acceptability of the bitmap Slightly with sub size dots and "twist joins". I ended up doing a little kerning in a fontlab to get it to where I wanted. That version is not downloadable - sadly enough.

Light, Curly, Display font. It's a very sweet soft font, only a few purposeful hard edges, you'll see that they need to be there when you start using it.

This one started when I saw Eames Stencil by House Industries. A very, very late entry to the stencil competition. ;-)

I wanted to create a light serif typeface that is clear and readable and at the same time sort of elegant. Don't know whether I did all this, really...

Try the Pixelview!
..or better:
Type something!
This looks surprisingly sweet!
Especially in small sizes.
I started this with the lower case, which i'm very proud of, cause they were hard to "connect".
Also reminds me of metallic chrome lettering on old cars :)
Itallica is not really made for typing in high cabs, but i works awesome if you start words with them and continue l/c...
enjoy!
numerals and more symbols later...

All of the curves are "real" curves using the curved bricks.
Using 2x2 filters,
- The x-height is 8 grid squares.
- The cap height is is 11 grid sqaures.
- The descender height is 3 grid squares.
- The widths vary, but for reference, the lowercase o is 9 grid squares wide.
I also included many ligatures. They are stored in the Extended Latin A character set.

Here is the fourth -- and final -- unique font to come from the ImageWriter II. I had a bit of difficulty trying to copy this from a standard printout using my ImageWriter II's without manipulation. Each character in the ImageWriter II's "Near Letter Quality" (NLQ) mode jammed a 16x14 character into what would normally be an 7x7 template.
I wound up figuring out that the ImageWriter printed each character's odd-numbered pixel rows before printing out the even-numbered pixel rows. Ultimately, I caught a rather (un)lucky break after the printer would mess up after the odd-numbered pixel row printout. This worked out because I was able to separate the alternating rows, then I spliced them back together.
Getting back to the font's attributes, ImgWriter NLQ, much like my previous ImgWriter entries, features characters that were not a part of the original design -- accented capital letters, the "fi" and "fl" ligatures, the yen and Euro symbols, fractions, et. al. The only character in this font that is not monospaced is the ellipses (or "dot-dot-dot"); this was made to be a double-spaced character to cut down on the white space between periods.
Enjoy!
--------
2014.04.15: Small update includes combining diacritic marks; this was done to circumvent a bug in some Mac programs where the accented characters wouldn't appear correctly after typing in Option+N then N, for example.
(Last updated on 2013.05.06: Includes a greatly expanded character set.)
