***Did you see the HORNS?***
Playing around with octagonal shapes. One child of this phase was "Zapotek", which Xenophilius mentioned completely right. Another one, beside some others , is this one. Somewhere in the back of my head this is inspired by the wonderful "fs Kronos" by will.i.ૐ. Not so much in it's look, but in it's heroic, oldfashioned feel. The feel it's purpose is decorating an epic fantasy novel :) I hope the upcoming sample can make this clearer. Enjoy
Reverse in the visual context can mean many things. I decided to create letters and mirrored them, attaching them to a spine. The letters looked like filigree jewellery pendants.
I know that the I , T and W don't follow the design rule; I tried to align them on a spine but the result was unsatisfactory.
This is a cloneHello again! Here's someting I started dabbling with years ago, but never finished or published. Fontstruct bricks and functions have evolved since then so I decided to give the ‘font’ a facelift and make it a little more complete (still no plethora of glyphs but I'm ok with it for now). Circus wild west meets casino and slot machines. Gambling, gunpowder, acrobats and jesters. Wash down with tequila.
Decorative, ArtDeco-ish all uppercase font for TwentiesComp. Got carried away and added Cyrillic too ;) Enjoy!
A piece of constructivism inspired by Dutch artistic movement "De Stijl".
This is a clone of STF_FABRICON_(OUTLINE)This font was created around the theme of repetition, it was inspired by Art Deco design and how repetition and pattern aren't just pointless ornaments but fundamental to the structure of the font. I have been able to reach this stage after 5 weeks of continuous development, sketching and experimentation which I focused around trying to create a bridge between 2D and 3D fonts. Built up of a single repeated component this font is not suitable or made for large amounts of text, but instead has been created to highlight the strength and complexity of each individual letter. http://oliver-james-town.blogspot.co.uk
A typeface inspired by American typefaces from the 1800s and the Art Deco-styled coffee shop I visit often in Des Moines, Iowa.
Combining a slab-serif, expanded typeface with ornate detailing brought challenging consideration to the legibility of the font. It’s used best for short, bold messages or an energetic initial cap.
Decorative or Cyrcus font? Just a simple font with Cyrillic. Track changes (short slider) for connecting letters. Bala is the first part of the word balalaika and Balagan, an early Russian cyrcus or an open-air theater (https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%91%D0%B0%D0%BB%D0%B0%D0% B3% D0% B0% D0% BD)
