Quarantine 2020 allowed for this fontstruction to be born as it provided forced free time.
I'm sure it's true for everyone who designs fonts, there were lots of artistic decisions made in the creation process. Some letters went through a lot of iterations to arrive at their current state. Almost the entire uppercase were designed one way, scrapped and then redesigned this way.
The future is screen. Super high-resolution screen. Resolution so high that it is indistinguishible from printed text. 4K screens are available on mobile devices now. The future is resolution independent then.
A bold, rounded, mono spaced typeface; useful at various scales, I think. Designed primarily for use in English, also useful in French and Spanish. It's functionality in Greek is limitted, only really useful in a display context, or where only Demotic usage is required; not useful in Katharevousa, Koine, Classical, etc. Open Font Liscence, hope it is enjoyable and of use.
This is a cloneGS Unicode is a project I worked on over the course of several years so (almost) all languages get support! With 14,564 non-spacing characters, this font is finished (as of Unicode 13.0, and as of FS's pre-July 2021 glyph inventory). Please tell me if some of the characters aren't working. I'll try to fix them as best as I can!
This font will no longer be updated except in the case of fixing errors. I'm now working on GS Unicode 2.0, a non-pixelated(!) font that uses FS's current (all of Unicode!) glyph inventory, and is set to take much, much longer....
...so I'll see y'all on the other side~
Font Airport is an interpretation of the information displays found in, well, airports and by maintaining a set matrix, a few oddities emerge.
The lower case is a negative of the UPPER CASE to allow you to combine the full matrix, in two tones, if you like.
If you do decide to download Font Airport, we'd be chuffed if you emailed us images of it in use, thanks.
What if GS Unicode wasn't just made of pixels? What if it had a better, more appealing width/height ratio? What if it utilized the new FS inventory? And what if I wasn't way too ambitious/crazy in making this? No idea, but I'm eager to find out!
I've split this font series up by plane since font files have a technical limit of 65,535 glyphs.
Things that are planned but not (fully) implemented yet are italicized.
This font (Plane 0) should also serve as the hub for most major updates (like those relating to the series as a whole).

Latin block is traced from Linux stock VGA8 font. Designed to fit 8x8 grid including spacing, so most symbols are 7x7 =WARNING= Line spacing is stuck and cannot be edited within FontStruct, you can edit it manually, see http://designwithfontforge.com/en-US/Line_Spacing.html for example.
(Complete basic latin set). First iteration of a font meant to be used as a substitution cypher in a videogame set in a very far future. Letters are, with a few exceptions, inspired by their corresponding latin glyph. Numbers look a bit like cells dividing in a petri dish. Punctuation and symbols are designed for easy recognition.

i take the undertale/deltarune font and add glyphs that are not from basic latin because everyone always forgets to add them
In the private use area F000-F022 are some chars to help with custom symbols
This is a faithful recreation of the original font used in the SNES RPGs developed by Quintet. There is already a popular font based on the game called Lunchtime Doubly So, but that one has none of the special characters used in the European localizations of the game, and also none of the original Japanese characters.
This trademark Quintet font appears in all their SNES RPGs (namely Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, and Terranigma), but with many little differences depending on the game at hand. Gaiatype is a recreation of the Terranigma typeface variant, to be exact, with its own spacing and character set.
Featuring all the European diacritic and extra glyphs as well as a complete set of all the hiragana and katakana characters from the original version of the game, called Tenchi Souzou in Japan, this marks my most extensive font to date with over 760 glyphs in total.
The base font size and recommended setting for Gaiatype is 16pt and multiples of that. Use metric kerning and no additional smoothing effects for the ultimate Terranigma experience.
Terranigma on the SNES, known as Tenchi Souzou in Japan, was developed by Quintet and released by Enix in 1995.
~ Gaiatype - created by Caveras after the original font used in Terranigma for the Super Nintendo. ~
