I went and mangled Spelunker by Zephram. I am messing with the shapes of the spaces between the letters. The name of the font indicates that most of the letters are wearing bell bottoms.
This is a clone of SpelunkerWith this font I am late to the competition, but I still love Art Deco a lot.
This is a cloneSome kind of great big ol' chain.
In retrospect, I think it looks like a jewelry chain from a dwarven civilization. Perhaps the hypothetical jeweler cut and ground the stones in an imitation of some dwarven font!
When glyphs are used in isolation, they somewhat resemble carved signets or seals. Increasing the letter spacing allows you to create a variation of the design. (This is something that must be done in-software since the font will render as monospaced by default.)

12SEP2018: Added lowercase... the low resolution combined with the design method make it very difficult to render distinctive lowercase versions of every letter, but I'll keep working on it. There's a lot of similarity between pairs like S/5, Z/2, etc., so this font is most effectively used in forms of writing wherein context suffices to inform the reader as to the identity of each glyph (lists, prose, and technical writings). If you want to use this in a password system or something, I recommend using one case's glyphs only.

Design Rules:
1. Negative spaces will be areas of 0.5 bricks' effective length or width.
2. Negative spaces may exceed the 0.5 measurement only by increments of 0.5 and in only one dimension at a time.
3. Glyphs will fill their framed canvasses to the greatest extent possible while adhering to the other rules.
a connected version of "folletto fino"...
This is a clone of Folletto FinoI love these kinds of fonts that have geometric puzzle-solving quality in the design. I was quite happy with how the lowercase found a way to be connected. Then I thought let me not mess with anything else. But a Z is so much like a 2, so I created the 2 out of the Z. Then when 2 was done, I was aprehensive of tackling the 1 because the vertical stem would be off by one brick, and how would that be resolved. Reluctantly I tried it...and it worked. 3 can be created from the B, but the B hasn't been created yet. OK, I guess I have to do the uppercase. A was easy. B was surpringly easy. Which gave me motivation to go on. And surprisingly soon, the whole thing came together. The hardest letters to shape were X and S. Not all letters are very successful, but they are distinctive enough to be recognized as themselves. Not sure about the =, but it will do, I suppose. In any case, no kerning required.
MIKITA - A "Chrome Script" style font based on the "Makita" logo type.
It is a simple 'semi' connected script, with only the basic character set. I don't feel like this requires having tons of typographic features. It is just aimed at writing simple things in this script style.
I hope you like it nonetheless
Cheers
Made on a whim as a result of rediscovering an old design (see sample).
It's pixel perfect at 12pt, 24pt, 36pt, etc. :^)
Since the inspiration image had only uppercase in it, I took some style liberties with the lowercase. The result is mildly comical!
Balloon/block style pixel text.
Original size: 18.5pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection)
Style variation in the "STF_CONNECTED SQUARES v2" typeface family.
---------------------------------------------------------
A remastered version of "CONNECTED SQUARES". A previous recap I did from the work of late great dutch graphic designer "Jurriaan Schrofer".
This time I made a much more accurate version. I also added uppercase letters and some extra punctuations.
Enjoy!
