This typeface attempts to capture the movement of a rose's stem, done through the its natural curls and the inclusion of thorns. These thorns are what protects the typeface itself, just as a rose protects its flower.

A font based on natural reptition, focusing specifically on the the human skelton and the reptition of bones to form a structure. Combining the elements of the human skeleton with the butterflies spine (thorax) and the geometric shape and structure of the wings.

I decided to base a font around timid text, exploring mainly the letters that we can't see. My research for this started in the city, but it became arrparent that most of the more natural, organic and unseen forms lay within the forest. I spent time looking at how the bark forms on trees, but what grabbed me was the way the branches above connected and crossed over to produce a network of hundreds of shapes and lines. It was from this that I created my type, mimicking the sight of branches when you look up through a tree.

I created this font for my University project. It was my first time using this site and I found it quite hard at first but now quite enjoy the possibilities. I started by looking at the word "Ornate" which to me, means adorned or decorated. When I looked at decorative adorned work, I noticed the use of vines and flowers. I then took photos of vines on buildings which inspired my font.
I started with a basic letter form and by using composite bricks I added pattern in the bricks and edges much like some older buildings. Then finally added vines and flowers to complete the font.

So here it is...Green Eyed Girl.
This project at UWE Bristol was to create a typefacd based around one word; so I looked into the word 'Curves' (which I probabily will never do again) and eventually came up with this. The idea came from looking at curves in lizards and vines, then linking the curvy-reptile theme with Medusa - hence 'Green Eye'.
Originally I was going to base it on a serif typeface but found that far too difficult on Fontstruct so used aggressive strait lines - similar to pre-historic drawings - to provide contrast against the seductive curves to make it seem like an Evil Temptress. The serif's are there to add authority.
So thats Green Eyed Girl by me...Sophina B.
*I think it may need tweaking in the sense that I've aligned each letter to the edge of the curve rather than the edge against the serif or stem. *

Untangle is a version of the Tangle typeface with the 'chaos motion' lines removed. Play about layering this with Tangle for secret message effects...This is a clone of Tangle

An improvement of the former (Headless/Tangle, now called Tangled Hairline); This version is bolder and simpler with more striking 'chaos motion' lines. This version is perhaps more decorative looking than the original and definitely more ordered in the sense of the letterforms to enable usability. This is a clone

This is my first fontsruction since studying at Uwe. I started looking at decay before looking into wood decay and the fungi and mushrooms that grow from it. Here I have make each letter resemble a mushroom.

This font looks at natural forms in nature such as plants and leaves. It reflects there patterns and organic curves. Each letter has at least one line of symmetry creating a kaleidoscope effect.

Leafcutter ants. Watching nature documentaries (and the ants in my workspace) gave me the idea. The letters look nice filled with green and typed along a curving path.

An all-caps display font featuring a serifed baseline and a pointy cap height. A decorative variation based on a plant theme is provided for all uppercase letters. The lowercase letters use the non-decorative variation.
