my first font publishing :)
no letter parts are below the baseline / caps are just taller than lower case
x is wonky but i made a better one in the capitals that is same height... hard to get the x to be the same width and height... sorry i'm still learning
i changed some stuff for keyboard preferences since i prefer to use the shift key as little as possible
! exclamation point is at the forward slash / key & the / is now at the \ key
makes more sense to me for / & \ to be at the same key
exclamation point is fun to use, so should me more accessible without shifting!
& is where the = sign is instead of shift 7 and i put a smiley face at shift 7. easy to remember because "+" and "&" both mean "and" and is at the same key ... i like to use the & alot.
= sign is the shift lowline (at the minus key)
maybe smiley faces should be accessible without shifting too, idk but there's nowhere else to put it
maybe i just made it more confusing but you can change it back the way you want it
why did they make the asterisk so small? i like it bigger
i see many people having trouble with letter v just like me... it either ends up being skinnier than other lines if a straight diagonal... or it ends up looking like a letter u...
i did what most people seem to be doing... making the left side bottom a square. i also shortened the height of the right side so it's more differentiated from the u
i wanted the m to be the same width as the other letters

The Bold Curved Type of the ABX-Pixel Font.
-Pixel Type-
This is a clone of ABX-Pixel BoldMy first advanced font, with composite curves!
I have created this typeface inspired by my theme ‘sustainability’ and the protection of the environment, particularly focusing within the fashion industry. This project has made me think more in depth about the affects fast fashion has to the environment and how this can be resolved. I started experimenting this theme by sketching distorted, organic typefaces to create a freeform look to represent the quality of fast fashion. This led me to looking at thread and embroidery and how freeform and swift it is unravelled, I used thread to create letters and see how they form naturally when placing the thread down. I took photos of the outcomes and used them to inspire my fontstruct letters. This gave me a sense of the shapes and lines that are created naturally and pushed me a step further within my progression.
This bold, swirling font draws its inspiration from the theme of 'Protect'. Within this theme, I looked into how people use crystals to protect their aura, soul, and mental and physical health. I thought about the contrasts that crystals have - smooth, curved and polished but also jagged and rough. I created pixelated curves using fontruct bricks to emulate this as well as adding the 'shine' that crystals give off.
The year is 2020. Oni is still making futuristic-y fonts. I was told there'd be flying cars. The future lied to me.
Contains support for:
All modern European Latin langauges (Full Latin-A character set), Cyrillic languages (Russian/Serbo-Croat/Bulgarian/Macedoian/Ukranian/Belarussian), Greek

Many LC glyphs are an alternate to corresponding UC.
I haven't mastered creating good joints between FS bricks and the compos I need to make ""to join"" the two types of brick. Trying to get them to flow into each other produces more or less untidy joining in many places which I find frustrating. Maybe I have to sketch out simpler designs for easy Fontstructing.
Looking at the caron I wonder if the center cross-over brick needs replacing with the one that dips downwards? See the two different bricks in the caron of E and e.
